We can add Mitch Garver to the list. ☹️

I was able to listen to the Twins on the Audacy app last year via WCCO or The Wolf.

Jeter was expecting to have another $15M or so to spend on payroll and the controlling owners have decided they have no more to spend.

Whenever Spring Training starts. I believe it was moved to that a few years back. Used to be later in ST, I think around March 15th.

Like a few others I followed Seth, John, Aaron, Nick and others on the interweb and was here on day one. This is the best place to talk Twins.

Now that it has come out that MLB will not be sending a counter proposal I'm not looking forward to missing games.

They helped with negotiations to end the lockout in the NHL in 2013. Same guy is still the head guy so I'm looking at this as a positive.

It's not a hot take when it is commonly considered to be accurate. Also I read everything you claim I didn't.

That's your opinion. A workhorse IMO is any pitcher that eats a ton of innings, no matter the performance.

Seasons 2-7 his lowest IP was 275.2. If that's not a workhorse then I don't know what possibly could be.

He played 11 full seasons though.

If they say they're not okay with cancelling games they lose a lot of leverage.

Easily Kent Hrbek for me. Grew up wanting to follow in his footsteps as a left handed power hitting 1B growing up close to the stadium. Too bad I had the athleticism of a sloth.

Matthew Lecroy was manager for Nationals' AAA team in Rochester last year and i think he was brought back for this year.

Finished it all with 1:24 to spare.

The rare 2 callups a few years apart player, Mark Funderburk! Called up for a cup of coffee in 1981 and then again in 1985.

How about a guy who hit a HR in his first MLB AB? Remember Andre David? I know Jack Morris does.

Matt Fox was called up for a spot start in September 2010, tossing 5.2 scoreless inning getting a no decision in a win. DFA'd the following day and claimed by the Red Sox.

I went middle ground based on the downturn in 2021. I am not a believer in firing based on one bad season no matter the expectations,

The Dodgers don't need to replace Seager at SS as they have Trea Turner to move back to his best position.

I don't sit there either but I think a hot dog and pop come with each ticket.

Lost OF Gabriel Maciel to OAK in the Minor League Rule 5 draft. They did not select anyone.
