    Well, just came in to check the Wild game- Woo hoo!!! Up 1-0 late in the 3rd! Oh, wait... That's Perky, not Dubnyk... Ooops. Well, maybe somebody can beat Chi tonight--

    Perhaps so. It's just so frustrating seeing the whole bloody team look completely helpless and clueless so much of the time. Gee, if you're going to suck, why not "battle your tail off," at least. Makes me miss Little Nicky, almost.

    Oh, so that's what happened. I was wondering- 3 hits and 0 runs... Twinkie baseball- at least the Twinkie baseball we've come to expect these last few years. What an embarrassment.

    Further, I've viewed fan sites of other teams on occasion, and I'm encouraged by the level of civility in the discourse here. Cripe, plenty I've seen have been far too internet-typical; an unending stream of f-bombs, vulgar asides, and personal attacks. Is it just Minny-nice at play? Who knows- I'm just grateful.

    Wow- I'm actually kind of sad I took the time to read that. In the words of the immortal Bugs Bunny, "what a mor-oon." There isn't a winner in this situation, but there is a long list of people who could have handled it with more aplomb, Mr. Hamilton included. To take on an addiction is a life-long challenge. There is no straight line from A to B, there are many lapses and relapses along the way. It's difficult enough, but I can't imagine having to face that challenge knowing your every move is being watched and publicized 24/7, especially by people who have no understanding, empathy or enough basic humanity to just keep their opinion to themselves or their buddies along the fekking bar.

    Just stopped in to check the game- saw 3.1 innings for May and got more than a little scared... As for the Bull (Sht*t) pen, kind of wondering when the Boyer Experiment will be over, and the Stauffer Experiment, and maybe the Theilbar Experiment for the time-being, anyway.

    Yipe. It's just so sad looking at a boxscore. Just tuned in on the internets- 0 hits. Again. Most Twin avgs below the Mendoza line. Sad, sad, sad. On the other hand, I don't mind those west coast games. It's 11AM here, a far more civilized hour.
