    Both the Minny boys acquitted themselves well today! Wow, Joe looked every inch the ace in his brief outing, and Bux spanked the ball a couple of times! Well done, lads!

    Woof- These day games usually start at 2 or 3 in the morning at my house, so I catch up with TD and the mlbtv replay. Glad I missed this one, and no need to rewatch anything. But hold on a second-- Checking out yesterday's highlights, I see Alphabet Soup Guy Misiewicz pitching in relief WEARING #57!!! WHAAAAAAT?!?!?!? WHY is a journeyman callup wearing #57??? Why is ANY Twins ever wearing #57 again?!?!?!? The sacrilege! 57!!

    Wow- this season has been great to watch for Byron Buxton. So far we've finally gotten a glimpse of what could have been without the devastating string of injuries. To get the cycle on his bobble-head day!! What a gas! The Adams kid got the job done, too, but what did he do before the game? Did he sit in a barber chair and just tell the guy, "I want you to eff-up my hair as much as possible?" LOLs 🤣😅😂

    I had the Pirates radio on while out on a walk, they were giving it to him and Wally both. Pirate announcer, "Castro's not running! What a buffoon!" I mean, it's fair that he stumbled out of the box, that stuff happens. But the play's right in front of you, and you can see your teammate busting his @$$ getting to second, and you STILL jog down the line? Fuggetaboutit.

    I would have gone the Billy Martin route with both Willy and Wally. Take 'em out of the game immediately, and publically. Those were embarrassing plays, and embarrassment would be a proper solution. But, I'm old school, so there's that.

    One of my favorite Twins growing up! The 65 series was my first baseball memory, and I can still recall people hooting watching that catch!

    Post game thought- I don't know if it's any different on the mlbtv, but with the Pirate broadcast on, I didn't hear that godforsaken mlbgreen thing more than a couple of times, and far less 'baseball zen!' 😀👍

    Switched over to the Sox game, just for fun. They're wearing the coolest Bulls knock-offs as their Friday night suits, instead of the kiddie pajamas we get. God, I HATE those rags.

    Duran Duran in the 9th. Game, set, match. An earlier poster mentioned how sad it is that Skenes had so many losses. He's right, it's just criminal. My God, the guy looks on the mound like he's moonlighting from his Pittsburgh Steelers DE job. That fastball! That curve! And he was just painting like Picasso until he hung that one to Larnach. Great job by Joe coming back from that rough 1st, too! Twinkies, though, kept it close throughout with bad baserunning and fielding. Lucky to win that one over such a good pitcher. (well, PAIR of pitchers, I guess!)

    Heh... so maybe not over after all! 😅 We're in the midst of a mini-typhoon, so took an opportunity to get the doggy out between showers. Had the Pirates radio on the headphones for all the festivities in the fourth. Oh, man were they giving it to Willy and Wally both. And deservedly so. But also praising Bux, for breaking up that double play, and covering for Wally and making the play close at the plate. Then, of course, as far away from home as we could be, the skies opened up again, and we got doused! 😂 Fortunately, only one of us got our hair wet!

    Rough first inning on both sides of the ball. But I guess it's hard to be taken seriously as a major leaguer when your Mom dresses you like a smurf.
