  1. Pictured: Brooks casually googling himself this morning
  2. Long shot for sure. Only if he thinks we’re a better team and he’s all in to win a Super Bowl this year. Him and Tyreek are the needle movers available for trade at WR. Thielen is a fine replacement to trade for. Jakobi Myers is fine too. Otherwise I’m just spending money and taking a chance that OBJ can be good for a month before he’s eventually hurt.
  3. Topa - high leverage specialist as expected
  4. State Fair starts tomorrow and that stand goes through a couple hundred thousand million ears of sweet corn over the next 2 weeks
  5. I’d only view Terry as a rental… then let him walk and get a comp pick. Same with Tyreek I would release him after the season when he has an out per spotrac. We are gonna have a tough time as it is to retain Addison once his rookie contract is over.
  6. Great question. I guess throw farther with his left hand? I wonder if he’s the first switch handed fielder in MLB history?
  7. There’s another switch handed pitcher drafted in the 1st round by the Mariners last year or 2 years ago.
  8. Attebury said on radio that Colby Thomas is a switch thrower? RH in the IF and LH in the OF. That’s amazing
  9. If Nick was right they had $26 mill before this now it’s closer to $30. Are we trying to go 1998 on the season and trade for Scary Terry McClauren or Tyreek? I’m in on either option. Get a needle mover and surround McCarthy with an embarrassment of riches.
  10. I want Ober to find that lost 2-3 MPH. 92-93 MPH Ober was a starter for a playoff team
  11. Not a real complaint given the reality of this team. Just concerned that 89 MPH is the new reality for him. If so, he’s gonna have to be even more accurate hitting his spots in and around the zone.
  12. I’ll keep the conspiracy going… Theres a much bigger story behind the scenes. Dan Hayes or one of the other beat writers needs to sniff this out. We may not know the full scope for another 6-12 months, but there is no question something is rotten here.
  13. Runners on 2nd and 3rd, zero outs. 0 runs scored. That actually is expected this year from the offense
  14. Only way this makes sense is if they target a more expensive WR for a trade with the freed up cap space. Immediate reaction is I don’t like this trade one bit.
  15. Trading a team captain away for scraps? What the hell?
  16. .592 OPS over his last 400 PA. I would hope someone is pushing for his playing time. He needs a reset badly.
  17. Lewis on the bench. He needs to get his mind right quickly.
  18. While that’s true, the traffic to get to and from both cities is awful. You’re not going to get a lot of commuters driving up from San Antonio for a Tuesday night game in Austin, or vice versa. I-35 is the main highway and that’s a parking lot 24 hours a day. One of the big reasons why I moved out of Austin…
  19. We got enough cap space to acquire Tyreek Hill. Go full 1998 on this season. JJ, Tyreek, Addison by week 4? Good luck, opposing defenses.
  20. If they’re seeking a city on the west coast for balance, Salt Lake City or Vancouver are much better options than Portland.
