  1. Cleveland’s formula isn’t difficult to replicate. They win with pitching, defense, and fundamentals. Jose Ramirez anchoring the lineup and they need 1 or 2 others to come through that particular day. Winner.
  2. It’s not being discussed enough… The Twins are 16-31 against the Guardians since 2022. 3-17 in 1 run games. 6 walk offs.
  3. Dear new owners: Don’t blame the fans for your inability to make improvements on the team, and you’re already off to a much better start than the last group. Give people a reason to care about your new team. We’re tired of being sold the same bill of goods year after year with Buxton, Correa, and Lewis. More Keaschalls, and less Mirandas are needed to change the identity of this team.
  4. Minnesota no different than anywhere else. We’re a front runner state and support the teams that make the playoffs. And push aside the teams that don’t. NFL is king so they’ll sell out whether they win 14 games or 3 games. The Wild have been consistent winners over the last decade+, but there were dark times when they weren’t winning and tickets were easy to come by. You don’t have to look too far back with the Timberwolves to see they were a laughing stock with no real fan base.
  5. My bad. I turned it to this game because Wild are in between periods. Just in time to see that walk off. Oof.
  6. I guess it’s too much to ask for one of our top prospects to have a normal development cycle.
  7. Oh good. We have some boozed up Cleveland fans right next to the microphone. That surely won’t get annoying throughout the game
  8. What the hell man. Why can’t we have nice things?
  9. The game should have been wrapping up by now, then wait for the Wild game at 8:30. Alas, the Twins game will be on the back burner tonight
  10. Both Dan Hayes and Phil Miller are fuming right now. And it’s hard to blame them. We’re wasting time for no reason.
  11. It’s only fair to let others spend 15-20 seconds scrolling and scrolling wondering when it’s ever going to end
  12. Another crisis averted. Little did I know FOX 9 Chief Meteorologist Ian Leonard works in Cleveland as well
  13. Congrats to @mrtwinsfanfor the longest post in Twins Daily history! With ads, additional web links I will never click, and more!
  14. So they are using the same radar that meteorologists used in the Twin Cities yesterday?
  15. The results are in from the brightest minds at MIT, Cambridge, and Harvard. Winning is better than losing in a competitive activity.
  16. Alcalaholics are loud and proud tonight
  17. We could use a lot more outings like that from our SP
  18. Impressive. This was a pic of me working remotely in 2020
  19. That’s a little bit better to attend for free. They made up the difference with $20 Spotted Cow beers I’m sure.
  20. It blows my mind that 100,000+ people stand in a parking lot for 3 days to watch the NFL draft. I enjoy the TV spectacle of the event, but being there in person has to be one of the most boring things you can pay to attend.
  21. Sad but true. The weather this weekend was great. I considered going to Target Field on Saturday and Sunday. I opened the Gleeman and the Geek sponsored ticketing app Gametime multiple times, and could have purchased pretty good seats for $25 or less. I decided to do other things instead, and caught a couple of innings on the radio. That’s basically where we are as a fan base.
  22. Weather hasn’t been worse in April compared to last year. The Wild and Wolves were in the playoffs last year too. This is a notable 14% decline in tickets sold per game.
  23. Keep it up and I’ll jump right back in after the Wolves and Wild’s playoff runs. Until then the Twins are a distant 3rd place on the priority list.
  24. Enjoy the victory lap, I guess? We don’t play the White Sox again until August, and the Angels in September. So the Twins have to beat real teams in the meantime.
