  1. Don't draft Ferris Bueller! He takes days off.
  2. "It's alright, Grace, it's Walker Bueller the little twerp. I'm gonna set a trap and let him fall right in it"
  3. "Morneau hears from Mauer after concussion"...After a concussion, you may hear the voices of many imaginary friends.
  4. Buxton's TEN triples in 184 plate appearances is UNBELIEVABLE!!!
  5. War, huh Good God y'all What is it good for? Absolutely nothing, just say it again War whoa Lord What is it good for? Absolutely nothing!
  6. I am saying that the Twins should keep Meyer as a regular starter, keeping giving him as many innings as possible. If he still has control issues at the age of 30, move him to the bullpen and reduce his repertoire to 1-2 of his best pitches. If he can't control a one-pitch repertoire, he needs to start bagging groceries at the market.
  7. "I don't see how that would be good. Walks aren't good out of the bullpen either" The advantage is that a relief pitcher does not need to control three pitches. One (see Mariano Rivera) or two pitches is sufficient for a one or two inning reliever.

  9. "the scorers are tougher on the fielders in AAA" Definitely not responsible for a .100 difference in Fielding %.
  10. "inevitable slide into confusion and ineptitude as his motivation and enthusiasm wanes. (there;s a bunch of 3-4 syllable words for you"....That slide may have been inevitable for you, but it is avoidable for the rest of us.
  11. "Joe Benson is to Chris Parmelee as Adam Walker is to Travis Harrison" As in none will make it.
  12. They can option him as many times as they want THIS SEASON. Options are measured in years, not #times sent down.
  13. "he posted a 0.0 WAR last year" WAR!!What is it good for? Absolutely nothing! Uh-huh. Say it again, y'all! WAR!huh, good God! What is it good for? Absolutely nothing!
  14. "That doesn't make a 25 year old not young"....Yes it does! Two kids and a mortgage can age you fast!
  15. "Twins GM watches Lookouts win second straight), but it is a rather bland interview"...A BLAND interview with Terry Ryan. Who saw THAT coming?
  16. "Would the Twins be 16-13 if Gardy were still here?" Yes, I think so. The bigger question is "would the Twins be 16-146 at the end of the season?"
  17. If Gardy were here, the boys would be batting their tails off. Hicksy, Dozy, Ploofy, Maui, Zookey, would be having good at-bats, and the ball would be coming nicely out of the hands of Hughesy, Gibby, Noley, Perky, Pelly, May-day and Tonky.
  18. Byron Buxton now has SIX TRIPLES in 25 games at AA. The MLB Twins triples leaders have ONE TRIPLE each.
  19. I'd be surprised to see Beresford getting a shot prior to September unless they jettison some 40-man filler. Bernier is the future jettisoned 40-man filler, unless someone elsegoes on the 60-day DL to replace E.Santana.
  20. In earlier decades, the palmball was thrown by Ewell Blackwell. If Ewell Blackwell threw a palmball, it was likely from the sidearm slot. Blackwell was successful to to his length and arm angle which sometimes made RH hitters relieve themselves.
  21. If/when Hicks succeeds, his long term role is in LF, not CF. Hicks should be a RIGHT-fielder with one of the strongest throwing arms in the organization.
