  1. Great photos and thank you. Were games exciting? I saw Stewart and Gonsalves pitching in photos. Amazing to see how some of these kids age in just a few years. Beards and Muscles. They are getting into their "Man" bodies as I watch these photos. The future is bright.
  2. I heard they had inter squad games (minor leaguer) today. Did any of the guys who were cut play in those minor league games. Did anyone see them play if they did play?
  3. It shows me that despite having a poor BA at AAA, players can make adjustments at the MLB level if they are just afforded Reps/ABs. I would ride some of these young guys this season and let them make that second year (2016) leap as Dozier did in his 2nd year.. 2016 would then be a special year. Especially if they have a special tool (5 tool) that adds to the team.
  4. Was there a link to the minor league 1st practice. I'm enjoying learning about so many lower profile players on the Twins. Makes you become an underdog fan of some of these guys (Hamburger and Graham). Good reading Seth.
  5. If minor leaguers report today, why do they start practice on Thursday? Can you really tell if their is any growth in a players overall game during ST?
  6. Most run producers drive in runs regardless to who they play for. They somehow have a knack for it (ground out; fly out; hit;). So yes - I would assume personally. I think most free agents get signed based on past production and an assumption of what they might do for new team. No one knows for certainty what a free agent will do with new team. It's based on history and/or belief. Torii has earned both IMO Back on subject matter - Apologies
  7. He can hit the ball a long way as shown in a HS National Home Run Derby. Power should come because potential is there. Had good year defensively at 3B in 2013. I hope to see him at 3B in Chattanooga when Sano leaves.
  8. Start AA w/July promotion to AAA. Southern League has first half and second half playoff qualifiers. Team led by Buxton and Sano will allow for second half promotions by several players. Twins want playoffs in both AA and AAA. The bigger question will end up, does he make 40 man roster this November? Are skills worthy?
  9. Read a great article on George Springer of the Astros regarding his strikeout concerns in AA and the majors. Reminds me alot of Sano and his fuutre path in a positive sense. Some of the comments at the bottom of that article had solid comparisons of his AA numbers to the likes of Goldschmidt; Kemp; Does Sano's 29% SO rate concern fantasy owners? Will it affect his chance to hit for average (.250 or better)? http://rotoprofessor.com/baseball/?p=19064
  10. Whats your over / under on the following players/prospects hitting at least 20 home runs this year? Regardless to how many levels they may play. That will tell you what kind of power we have in the organization. Young Power ARCIA BUXTON DOZIER GARVER HARRISON KEPLER MINIER PINTO PLOUFFE SANO TURNER VARGAS WALKER
  11. AA is deserving / A+ would be a hard stand IMO He has been lucky to have great players around him. He has also been a big contributor. Doubt you find a teammate to speak differently.
  12. Any guy who hits a home run and double in his only MLB spring training game (2 for 2) deserves a shot at AA if he is considered a bubble guy. That's a guy who shows he can rise to the occasion. Plus he helped win first ever championship for Miracle who have been around for decades. I personally would have invited him to big boy camp for a week or 2 before sending him down to minor league spring training. I would bet he is the only 2012 / R3 draft choice in baseball not invited to spring training. Wild guess
