    This team could get high output performances from multiple hitters and Starters AND still be a 70 win team with the current bullpen and how many W they turn into Ls. I can see this team by seasons end having the worst record in the league. I think this is a big reason why Falvey left. There are no options left to make this bullpen serviceable.

    It would be fine if your had one of these guys on the roster and the others could be options to AAA. You can only have 1 of Clemens or Julien on the roster for 1B unless Keachell is hurt during ST. Outman only makes this team as a CF backup if he can prove he can play solid CF again AND Larnach is traded or an injury. realistically all 3 of them could be gone with a 1B signing and a healthy spring.

    I would assume that a minor league deal is in place for Fitzgerald. The Twins will get to in theory claim Wegeman and keep Fitzgerald. is a right handed hitting Julien. some outside numbers say he could be a productive hitter. This is a move that terrible teams make to bring in players to atleast fill out a roster with fringe major leaguers. Right now if Bell or Clemens got hurt they wouldn’t have anyone to even fill in at 1B so it’s a move that makes sense around the margins and maybe a lotto ticket hits.

    Boy I hope Kaelen Culpepper is on this list to start 2027. If not something went terrible in 2026, either Culpepper completely fails or Lee/Keaschell completely failed.

    A lot of positions players who have no business being on a 40 man roster all offseason. Perada, Gasper, Fitzgerald, Clemens, Kreidler, Julien, Outman. I am hoping there is some deck chairs that can be shuffled. Like a solid fielder RH hitting middle infielder who can fill in against lefties and can cover for Lee. Maybe an everyday 1B.

    It should tell you all you need to know about Fedko when he wasn’t called up last season. This organization has zero faith in you. Rosario has a bit of Brent Rooker in him. Light tower power without much else for tools but slight adjustment to make enough contact can make him a very good big leaguer. More likely he is a Kyle Garlick tho but could carve out a big leaguer career if he mashes lefties like Garlick did. Olivar I think his only hope is if he can develop as a catcher where his bat looks pretty good if he can get to average MLB defensive catcher. Thats a long way out as it sounds but he does have the athletic tools and defensive development as a catcher isn’t linear. Gabriel Gonzalez is probably the only real RH option. If he keep enough power and plate discipline he could be a very good big leaguer. He is the only guy on this list that will for sure get a solid run in the big leagues. I could see the other 3 never making it to the big leagues.

    Jorge Mateo was non tendered by Baltimore. Grades out well defensively at SS, has Buxton type speed and hits RH. He is atleast a .220 career hitter. Might be a much better 26th man. Could even start at SS against LHP moving Lee to second and Keaschell to 1B with Bell as DH.

    With the budget and free agent basket we were shopping in I think Bell is very good get. I hope he plays more DH than 1B and maybe there is another position player addition coming to. (Mayo addition with a Larnach subtraction, probably not in the same deal tho) An addition of a RH hitting SS good defensive SS would when facing lefties could slide Keaschell to 1B and Lee to 2B. Keeping Bell at DH would fit nicely as well.

    I think him and Travis Adam’s will have an opportunity to prepare this offseason and could make a nice transition to solid MLB reliever in ‘26. The problem is there is only two of them and no going to be 100% success. Even if you let Raya and Phrielipp start the season in the bullpen (highly unlikely) they will go through some lumps as well. Maybe 2 of the 4 by seasons end become successful relievers and now you have 2 of the 5 spots you traded away filled. You are going to have to do this with about 5 more starters to maybe have some resemblances of successful bullpen in ‘27. On the positive side I did like Ohl and Adam’s later in September when I could stomach watching the Twins.

    Have you seen Mountcastle play? He is significantly better than France! If you could get Mountcastle for reasonable trade I would t mind him. Mayo is going to cost much more in prospect/talent. I would ask if Mayo for SWR package is something Orioles would be interested in.

    I liked Susac as an option before they traded for Alex Jackson. I still like bringing him to compete for the back up catcher as I’m not completely sold on Jackson. I assumed they would be taking a pitcher since they have so many bullpen spots to fill but maybe they really like Susac. I just hope this doesn’t mean the Jeffers rumors are true and they plan on going with Susac and Jackson as the catchers in 2026. Hikes!!!

    I don’t think trading Jeffers just to sign a lesser option for 1 yr makes much sense. I wouldn’t mind if you traded for a catcher with more team control. I’d like to know what Pittsburgh would ask for Henry Davis. You would have to get something decent for Jeffers tho

    Where there is smoke there is fire! You don’t say well don’t know a budget and don’t know what direction the team is going if you have any plan to build around this team. This new ownership group wants a quick return on investment and that means cutting this payroll to the bones and collecting on revenue $. If it was someone who wanted to invest in the team they would have come out and said it by now with the falling season ticket base and fan interest. Twins are tearing it down Buxton, Pablo, Ryan are all gone. Hopefully can bring in some talent and hope for 2030.

    There is no such thing as a bad minor league deal!!! if there is .01% chance he turned back the clock to 2019 he is a good bet for a minor league deal with invite to ST

    Andrew Pintar is most interesting but you already have Outman and Martin and Roden who are all out of options and likely better today. I was hoping for Creed Willems, a LH hitting catcher with big power and a big arm behind the plate. With the addition of Jackson I think they would only take Willems if they knew Jeffers was gone.

    They should take a pitcher for sure to convert into a bullpen piece. I want them to take Creed Willems tho a LH hitting catcher from Baltimore who was left unprotected.

    Rule 5 Nasim Nunez from the Marlins. He was drafted in rule 5 last yr I believe but was sent back during ST. He has a good major league glove at SS and elite speed. If you’re going to be bad and not spend $ at least go after interesting prospects not interested in IKF. He is going to get a few million and that can be better used in the bullpen.

    He bring experience and knowledge of transitioning from struggled starting pitcher with good stuff to successful bullpen arm to closer. I think the Twins have and will have lots of those in the 2026 and 2027 bullpen. How the Twins make that transition for pitchers will be a big part of them possibly have any kind of success going forward.

    To answer the question I can realistically see 80M Trading both Pablo and Ryan as well as Jeffers and non Tendering Larnach. You still have to spend to bring in a 1B and if trading Jeffers 2 catchers and at least 3 Bullpen pieces (as well as keeping Topa)

    He will be 21 next season, like a guy drafted out of college. The AZ fall league will be a good test. Not a lot of high end pitching talent but some more advanced pitching. I think you keep leaving a guy like Winokur at SS until he proves he can’t play there. At 20 yrs old the power will likely still develop the bat to ball skills is important improvement to see in game. At the very least he is one of the most interesting prospects in the twins system.

    I don’t think Adam’s looked terrible, I think he’ll take some time to transition to the 1 inning bullpen role. Festa might take some time to transition to the bullpen as well. If we are wishing on a star listing Lawyerson then might as well list Matt Canterino, atleast he had great stuff in the past and was working on transition to the Bullpen in 2025 before shoulder surgery in spring training.

    Twins don’t have many MLB bullpen arms. Topa and Sands are really it, they might be middle relievers throw into high leverage reliever spots. You just need major league arms at this point. Keep 2 (Sands, Topa) Free agent Sign 2 continue converting 2 (Ohl, Adams) Covert 2 young starters to relievers. maybe 1 from each catagory works out and you can have some assembly of a bullpen in 2027. 2 Million for a reliever in Topa you know can get MLB hitters out and throw strikes .

    I think Larnach is an easy non tender candidate. They tried to trade him at the deadline. They traded for 2 LH corner outfielders with 2 more top prospects in AAA as LH corner OF. All are much better defensively. I hope Wallner gets a 1B glove this offseason.

    Tonkin has no upside at this point, he has show over multiple season that he can be a reliable MLB reliever. Why not cut him save the 40 man spot and sign him or someone similar to minor league deal.
