    . That's nothing, when Brian heads east on his trip, he has to stop and buy a watch on the way out, and on the way back. Someone told him to just get an analog watch, but he said he likes the old style watches with hands better!

    What was the second pitch? Since they replaced my baseball game with some guys skating around hitting each other sticks I will need more info. . If I wanted to watch grown men fight I would watch KC/Chicago!

    From what I understand, Brian's NW Mn turkey had gotten a nod from the chicken in the road ditch! So he decided to try and sneak across the road, because he figured Brian would not see him in time! Just as he got to the centerline, Brian looked up from his IPhone and sped up his 2003 Hyundai, and nailed the Turkey just before he reached the far shoulder. While the argument rages whether Brian should have sped up the Hyundai, the fact remains the Turkey should have been happy where he was!

    . While they don't make a great impression on the road they will in the grill of your vehicle! If you really want to see turkeys fight, couldn't you just go to a KC/Chicago game? Hell, you might even get a Hawk involved also!

    If Brian falls asleep after all that coffee, and does not wake up, drooling will not be his only problem!

    I know Redmond would be gone before they hire someone, but it would be strange for Gardy to replace him. As for the Angels, that would be a culture shock for him. I would think a lot more criticism. His blood pressure might preclude that?

    The situation: right handed veteran pitcher, left handed hitter, two outs, bases loaded, 39 yr old runner, very good catcher. The assumption: that the 39 yr old can run 75 feet before the veteran pitcher, who is looking right at him, can throw a baseball 60 feet. The result: As expected! Substitute a left handed pitcher, and a right handed batter, and I might even consider it. This was stupid, and pure Torri, making it all about Torii!

    If he starts throwing a lot of high velocity splitters, his arm is a disaster waiting to happen.maybe the Twins, in this situation, should let that be some other teams problem?

    I am not sure what inning the bunt was, but that would have violated one of those unwritten rules, everyone writes about. After a certain time you don't bunt your way out of a no hitter. I am likely in the minority here, but I think those rules are ok, as long as you follow ALL of them, including the one about not hitting anyone above the waist.

    I would trade Hunter last week, but if I remember correctly he has a no trade contract. While we always wonder why the Twins wanted him, the other question is why did he sign here, to this forsaken operation? Guaranteed playing time? RF guaranteed? WARM FUZZY FEELINGS FOR THE FANS. I just don't think money was the determining factor.

    Leave him at SS here. You have to find out if he can play the position in the majors. He has no future in the OF, except as a utility player. If you are serious about improving your defense to win this year then get a real CF here. But all that would be is a charade!

    I waffled on Mauer, but did not think his effort on the ball yesterday, or the high throw tag the other day was adequate. Plus I read where most or all of his errors are in like the last 38 games? He could have easily been deleted from the list of miscreants, but I admit I was in an expansive mood!

    I must have missed the Twins focus on playing strong defense? (Snarky, sorry). After you replace Arcia, Nunez, Hunter, Hermann and Schafer, then you can consider Santana. Along with him don't forget Suzuki and Mauer. Santana went out and played CF last year, mediocre as it were, quietly and dreadfully out of position. He needs a chance to succeed at SS. If he can you have a SS. If he can't, you can plug replacement level Esobar back in. If this team cannot spend some time auditioning a player, which team could?
