  1. That was Caratini's only chance, bounce/skip off the wet grass on the first base side of second...
  2. Twins helping Headrick out by swinging at a lot of pitches out of the zone
  3. Rojas tonight: 2.2 IP, 2ER, 4 H, 3/1 K/BB, 46/32 P/Strikes. He got the W, though because Wallner went deep
  4. That was the roughest 1,2,3 inning I've seen in awhile...
  5. Right!! Going to have to deal with it or start using challenges, and they (Caratini) already lost one...
  6. Hope Gray was watching how that pop up was fielded...
  7. Correct, the only ballpark that matters is the one you're playing in
  8. Guess the Saints shouldn't have turned that DP then....
  9. Saints 1st inning; Walker - single, Jeffers - single, Wallner - HBP, Gonzalez - IF pop up, Mendez - 6-3 DP. Future Twins doing it the way the current Twins do it...
  10. Should not have had to challenge the pitch against Bellinger, that ball caught a lot of the plate...
  11. Cole is tough enough to hit off, if he gets that low strike call all night he'll be impossible, especially if the Twins run out of challenges.
  12. I get it, we all want a good return for our players, I was just pointing out what happened in MLB at last year's deadline, including the return the Twins got for a couple of players that were similar to Larnach. The best return will be for Jeffers, especially if the Yankees are involved and the Twins can maybe get a bidding war started. Ryan will have to significantly improve upon his near 5.00 ERA for the month of June to get a good/decent return, but if the Twins are still contenders they may decide to keep him - tearing down the rotation to build a BP makes no sense.
