  1. How these guys get called out on fast-balls middle-middle is beyond me, what are they looking for??
  2. Topa is basically setting that change-up on a tee for the Sox hitters
  3. A quick count on Baseball Savant show 8 obvious strikes called balls, and 5 obvious balls called strikes. I disagree.
  4. CB missing them middle-middle now...
  5. Somewhere in the CHSN studio Ozzie Guillen is having a Piranha-Traumatic Stress Disorder experience...
  6. Why players should run hard to 1B every time:
  7. Horrible bunt attempt by Outman, might be time to put him on the bus/train to St. Paul.
  8. Don't know if it gets him to 3B or not, but Julien didn't look like he was running very hard there.
  9. Buck looks a little (a lot) shaky in CF today...
  10. Sorry Buck, but that should be caught, therefore it should be E-8
  11. Look at Buxton staying on the ball and going to RF with a pitch out over the outside half of the plate.... And then speed kills!!
  12. For every one who has complained about the baserunning lately, Keaschall played that line drive to RF perfectly, far enough to advance if it falls, close enough to retreat if it's caught.
  13. Sox announcers are saying he's only scheduled to pitch 2 innings
  14. Might be time to shut Ober down and bring up......anybody else
  15. He should be standing in the same pasture as Angel Hernandez (among others)...
  16. Can't trade Jeffers, someone has to C next year as no one in MiLB is/will be ready next year. In fact, the team probably needs to add a C for next season and then hope one (or more) of the MiLB C's is ready for 2027.
  17. Agreed. How many players with poor results/stats keep getting chances because of swing speed, spin rate, exit velocity, launch angle and expected results while others, despite good results/stats, get banished to the end of the bench or worse, never get out of the high minors, because their stats/results are considered unsustainable because they don't have those eye-popping metrics?
  18. Byron Buxton, what could have been. This years stats through 103 games project out to 46 HR, 110 RBI, and 33 SB over 162 games. The team's last 10 years may have been a lot different if he was able to stay healthy and contribute like this every season. But, alas, reality is what it is, and this is what we are left with, meaningless late season games and the Big Fire Sale of Summer '25.
  19. Tonkin needs to quit toying around...
  20. Perfect placement by Lewis....LOL!!
  21. They were right though, he got several very hittable 4-seamers...
  22. How dare the announcer suggest Clemens hit that pitch over the outer part of the plate the other way....
  23. The Friars found their knockout hits though...
