Was wondering why no Larnach or Roden against Williams (RHP), then remembered that he has opposite splits (RHB hit better than LHP against him). Larnach is 0-12 against Williams, Roden 0-7.
You're killing me, Smalls... The inference was that the Twins are notoriously slow to put players on the IL. seemingly preferring to wait a couple days, thereby shorting the bench, before eventually placing the injured player on the IL....
.272/.376/.492 (.868) across 62 games and .264/.363/.432 (795) across 66 games in a hitter's league are not promotion worthy numbers. The defense might play, but the bat's will be exploited and who knows how that affects a young players psyche.
