  1. I think we should root for GB. Feels wrong though.
  2. How does Baltimore have three losses? Sometimes they look like the class of the NFL. And then they lose to Cleveland. Henry looking good today.
  3. Grew up on a farm so had, literally, hundreds growing up. Now that I'm old and no longer live on a farm, I have one cat. She's a pain.
  4. Yeah, this game feels scary. Even without Cashman, the Vikings are the better team so they should win but Flacco might be able to make quick reads that target Pace. Still, let's remain hopefully and say Vikings by more than a touchdown.
  5. Dude, just stop. You pouted all through the Vikings pre-season thread, basically disappeared when they went 5-0, and now you're doing your chicken little thing again after they lost 2 games by 12 points.
  6. Looks like we also get the Jags 2026 7th rounder. Seems like a good trade.
  7. Ignoring the QB, Indy's defense isn't that good. Could be a nice time to iron out some of our offensive issues.
  8. 3rd and goal from the 22.
  9. Anyone have the picture of the trainer giving Allen smelling salts? I agree with the general premise that Richardson shouldn't have said what he said but I'm also not going to overly think it. It was one play. https://www.stampedeblue.com/2024/10/28/24281862/much-ado-is-being-made-about-nothing-regarding-anthony-richardsons-requested-breather
  10. Honestly, I think it's the right thing. If he's not right, it's better that he takes himself out until he's good. Too many athletes play through something. Now, if he's gassed because he went to bed at 5am, that's another thing. But if he was dinged up from some hits and needed time, I'm ok with it. We know nfl trainers don't care.
  11. I hate how good the nfc north is but I kinda like it, too.
  12. Chicago lost!!@
  13. Chicago is going to get the win. Wow.
  14. Chicago has a good defense but the offense is still a work in progress.
  15. Rooting for Jags and Titans today. Probably going to be a bad day.
  16. Yeah, I'd be ok moving him for a LB or DT that has a few years under contract but, again, not sure who that would be.
  17. I think he's a lot better than Nailor. I don't think he's untradeable but I don't think there are many LT worth trading him for. Darrisaw should be back next year so it would just be a rental.
  18. I laughed
  19. I'm not sure it's as dire as that. We don't blitz every down. In fact, i think we're fifth in blitz rate this year (as opposed to last year when we were first). I think the bigger issue is dumb penalties (and probably health but health is an issue for every NFL team). The Rams second scoring drive was kept alive by two penalties on third down by the defense. On their last TD drive, we again had two stupid defensive penalties and gave up a first down on a fourth and short. Similar stupid things happened against Detroit. Generally, it's hard for offenses to successfully dink and dunk down the field without help from the defense. As to the worn down angle, that was actually a gripe against Zimmer for playing so much man to man. I have no idea if one type of defense wears people down more than others. It's the NFL. It's excessively violent so I would tend to doubt that. But you are right that teams with depth are probably better so it would be nice to see Turner and a few others step up and push for playing time.
  20. Quick thoughts 1) we lost a classic trap game. Not going to ruin our season but ugly game. 2) I'm more worried about our offense than our defense. The offense seems to shut down when Jefferson isn't getting the ball, I think Darnold locks on him a bit much (understandable), but KOC's play calling isn't working as well lately. We've been settling for far too many field goals lately. And we are committing far too many pre-snap penalties. 3) Re: Turner. If you remember the pre-draft stuff about his was that he was still small and young (20 during the NCAA season) and would need time to beef up. I think that's likely what is happening. 4) We're 5-2. Look at our pre-season expectations, relax. Enjoy the season. This is a playoff team and probably still a top 3 team in the NFC. I do think the coaches have to make some adjustments but I think both KOC and Flores can make the adjustments. Root for the Jags this weekend.
  21. Penalties are killing us
  22. Presnap penalties. Man.
  23. Horrible call
  24. Darnold looking really good
