As discussed above, if the Vikings win out they get the #1 seed because the NFC East is really bad.

Cuddyer retired rather than take the 9m the Mets still owed him.

I assume in this kind of situation, he gets cut, gets a lot of money b/c of that, and then will sign as a backup somewhere. Unless he gets back into a few games and shows he's better, I don't think anyone sees him as a starter. But because of the lack of QB depth, I would guess he might be a highly prized backup QB.

Agreed. Our plays are designed for the receivers to be far downfield, takes time to set up. We don't do a lot of quick screens or fast slants. That said, I do think the interior OL needs improvement in the offseason. Seeing our center and/or guards turned into speed bumps once a game ain't fun.

Nice win for the Vikes. Sloppy at times but they were always - by far - the better team. We need to clean up the pre-snap penalties against GB and Detroit though.

Lions RB Montgomery is now officially done for the year. Wow. That is a ton of injuries. I'd feel worse for them if I didn't think they were one of the dirtiest teams in the league.

We should win this one, pretty handily. Division games can be tough and the Bears arguably were hanging with us, Green Bay, and Detroit in recent games. Still, I think this will be a fun game for Vikings fans and a pretty easy win. Let's say 35-10 or so.

Sounds like the Dolphins WR has movement in his extremities, which is good. Really scary hit.
