    Jose Quintano, Jordan Montgomery, Jake Odorizzi and Noah Syndergaard say hi. I even liked the Mahle deal. But it looks pretty bad in retrospect. Mahle is gone after this year and at this point what have they gotten?

    Pretty bad take. There's a wide gap between "sat pat" and "make a trade that doesn't help with trying to win AND costs quite a bit." The options weren't limited to "do nothing" and "trade for Mahle."
