    I don't think I did. They're 8 deep? They're 2 deep, and plenty of teams have had worse luck with starters than the Twins. This isn't some unforeseeable, incredibly unlucky situation. And not addressing it in the offseason isn't an excuse for not addressing it in-season.

    Need about 7 strong from Ober and a W in game one. Preferably without using any of Alcala, Jax or Duran, who are then available for game 2. Use up a good portion of Cleveland's pen to boot. That's not asking much, is it?

    If only there were some way, some...mechanism, some...strategy whereby the poor Twins could have supplemented their roster in-season. That would have been something. Oh well. Poor, unlucky Twins.

    False. A player brought up as the 27th man for a doubleheader isn't subject to the normal rules regarding recalls. He could be the 27th man tomorrow, returned the next day, and be recalled at any time. https://www.mlb.com/glossary/transactions/27th-man
