Houck seems to have no idea where the ball is going when he throws it. Lots of pitches way outside the zone and some where the target is outside and the pitch ends up inside.
I remember Little League as a kid. There were 6 teams that wore red, blue, green, black, maroon, and yellow. Everyone hoped that they wouldn't get on the yellow team!
An hour later than most English football games. Except, of course, their noon kickoffs that start at 4am here. They use the early Sunday kickoffs for rivalry games so that there is less time for the "ultras" to drink before the game...
I made this comment a week ago on another thread, so apologies for repeating, but it's relevant here. Rod Carew was in the booth for a couple of innings of a spring game and commented on Arraez (very complementary) and Sano. He basically cut off discussion of Sano saying something to the effect of "He doesn't follow our advice, he just goes up and swings as hard as he can."
At least the Twins eventually got a hit. One better than the Saints (who could potentially be called up to improve the offense?).
Seriously, one has to question now whether Kirilloff will ever be a major-league player.
Target Field is too far from Portland for it to matter to me personally, but I'm curious: Does a general-admission/SRO seat entitle you to sit in an unoccupied seat, or is it literally standing only unless you are in a restaurant?
