  1. What's the prediction on total Kepler, Sano, Sanchez, and Larnach strikeouts? Perhaps 10?
  2. I think the Twins pitching staff started early, but only two so far.
  3. I agree. There must be something on the DVR that would be more pleasant.
  4. Might be better to pitch around the bat.
  5. Houck seems to have no idea where the ball is going when he throws it. Lots of pitches way outside the zone and some where the target is outside and the pitch ends up inside.
  6. Shall we make guesses about who is next? Or is that too pessimistic?
  7. I forgot Alcala. You're right, we're a third of the way down to the 40 already!
  8. Three? At this rate the Twins will use up all 12 players from the 40-man roster onto the 28-man roster very soon.
  9. Looking more Gray than Sonny.
  10. He must have forgotten the hit he got a couple of days ago to the opposite side against the shift.
  11. Maybe someone should start beating on a garbage can in the dugout...
  12. I remember Little League as a kid. There were 6 teams that wore red, blue, green, black, maroon, and yellow. Everyone hoped that they wouldn't get on the yellow team!
  13. These Boston yellow shirts are hideous! Like something from an unfortunate youth team.
  14. Byron's MRIs should be in the Hall of Fame, even (especially) if he doesn't make it.
  15. Clearly better than becoming the Twins' loser.
  16. I think that the TV stream in general is slow. MLB.TV is often 1-2 pitches behind.
  17. I'd love to see Duran mix in one of the Astudillo 45mph bloopers here.
  18. Must be hard for the announcers and the scorers when there are no names on the shirts and everyone wears the same number.
  19. I think he has decided the order of his pitchers before the game, and they just come in as needed regardless of situation.
  20. An hour later than most English football games. Except, of course, their noon kickoffs that start at 4am here. They use the early Sunday kickoffs for rivalry games so that there is less time for the "ultras" to drink before the game...
  21. I made this comment a week ago on another thread, so apologies for repeating, but it's relevant here. Rod Carew was in the booth for a couple of innings of a spring game and commented on Arraez (very complementary) and Sano. He basically cut off discussion of Sano saying something to the effect of "He doesn't follow our advice, he just goes up and swings as hard as he can."
  22. At least the Twins eventually got a hit. One better than the Saints (who could potentially be called up to improve the offense?). Seriously, one has to question now whether Kirilloff will ever be a major-league player.
  23. Target Field is too far from Portland for it to matter to me personally, but I'm curious: Does a general-admission/SRO seat entitle you to sit in an unoccupied seat, or is it literally standing only unless you are in a restaurant?
  24. Actually, low and inside last night on the RH batters.
