    Lackluster game. Wow. Few good AB's. I was NOT disappointed in Santana's 4 K's- 2 weeks without playing and a couple of games at FM, plus Price isn't too bad, either. That's what it's like, boys and girls, to have a true #1.

    Going back to the question of the possible managerial change: I like gunnarthor's choice of Dougie Ballgame! If you look back at some of the newer hires-Matheny from the Cardinals and Ausmus of Tigers to mention a couple-organizations seem to be looking to youth and energy. I just don't get Molitor. IMO, his reputation has been enhanced by the media who somehow think retired superstars make good managers. In addition, he has no managerial experience.

    Does everyone remember what happened when Plouffe went on the DL? It pushed Escobar to 3rd, which was a temporary fix, and Santana to everyday SS. That worked until Santana went on the DL. Then Nunez went to 3rd, and Escobar went back to SS. The point is: what combination of the above to you want (remember Santana hurt) for your everyday lineup in 2014? The Twins FO has already told us they have no plans for Romero in the future by not calling him up when Plouffe went on the DL. I realize he is not on the 40 man, but that could have happened by DFAing Floriman. I am not necessarily a Plouffe guy after this year, but I believe he is an important cog for this year's team.

    I always love Willihammer's posts! His "out of the box" thinking is consistently well thought out, reasonable, and make me always stop and think. I believe his scenerio would have a real chance of happening, if not for these: 1.) I think he is still having some effects from his concussion(like Morneau's season last year). 2.) I think he genuinly loves playing in Minnesota, and just can't fathom him playing in LA or anywhere, for that matter. 3.) I think he wants to spend time with his twin daughters. Just my opinion.

    Great article, Nick. I am a relatively new participant in TD, and it was particularly interesting to me to read accounts of how your group started, your goals, and how the 5 of you interact. I see nothing but good coming to the TD group.

    I agree that Plouffe and Hammer haven't been doing all that great, but Morales is 7-22 (.318) with 7 RBI's and 3 doubles this week.....
