    That is just an arbitrary number that means little. By that definition Kirby would never have made it to Minnesota in time for the World Series.

    I am not sure Caratini is slumping, he has fallen back or even below his career numbers. He had a career month in June when we needed it but he has come sliding back to earth.

    If Clemens is on the team you don't need CF covered. Kreidler defense is better at SS but I think Lee can provide offense as well. If Kreidler is on the team it has to be for only a couple times per week as you said.

    Jenkins will be up here on opening day 2029, they will want to make sure he has mastered AAA and he might need another stint in Wichita just to be sure.

    So what is the magic number they need to be at to be called up.

    Martin is fine playing against LH pitching and a late inning defensive replacement. His numbers in July were much better when he played in this role. At least unitl there is someone better to replace him.

    If Tom P. really wanted to make the fans happy, he would bring in tomorrow someone that knows how to run baseball operations and how to construct a roster. And maybe develop a plan for the organization.

    We got out of the first inning with no runs, this new guy may not be so bad after all.

    Yeah he has been one of our hottest hitters but hey we don't need that.
