    You can find a Jackson type in the offseason, they need to DFA him. They can not carry three catchers especially with all the moves Shelty is making in the late innings lately. You can't have two catchers on the bench.

    These trades or lack of are on Zoll is more my point. He was authorized additional payroll, the owner is not out there scouting or evaluating players. That is Zoll and his staff.

    Giving up Hill doesn't concern Zoll because he won't be here when Hill is ready for the major leagues.

    Kremer pitching this year is our #6 pitcher. Pre 2026 is still behind Ober to me.

    Hey we got Kremer, he is now our number 3 and may push Bradley for the #2 slot.

    I am actually not too upset because they are further away then they think. But there sure was a lot of talk and with a half hour to go, not much action. It feels more like half measures again, no real plan.

    Yeah Lopez and Mahle almost got us to the World Series. But I forgot Zoll did get us another Trevor Richards equal in Kremer.

    Has anyone checked to see if Falvey has snuck into 1 Twins Way. This deadline feels no different from when he was here.

    I don't recall seeing any pushback about the move. Please remind me with the comments he made that showed he pushed back. Morneau had good things to say about his work and he said something to the effect of I am happy to be in the lineup and positions are what they are. So rather than laugh, show the quotes.

    Kremer is pitching on Wednesday it was announced before the game today.

    Honestly I am not sure if there is much of a market for him, but I would take anything you could get. I am not sure Zoll agrees and is marketing him.

    I do find it a little ironic that many on here criticized Lewis about his comments when they wanted him to move to 2B two years ago. And one of his concerns was he didn't want to make a mistake at a new position while the team was chasing a pennant. So now he has willingly moved around the infield like a utility infielder without saying a word, but then when the learning curve shows he still has a ways to go, everyone is quick to criticize. Not sure you can have it both ways.

    That is why I made the comment, get him in the field and ready so he can be here as quickly as they can. I would prefer not to wait a week but the goal would hopefully be by next weekend he could be here if he comes thru today's game ok.

    This is why they need to get Culpepper in the field and playing so he can be up here. You can not keep shuffling your defense in the 9th inning every game, it's not working.

    How about the poor at bat from our designated hitter in the ninth with a runner in scoring position. There were plays missed or not made throughout the game, but all we hear about is the play Royce didn't make.

    They need another late inning RH option in the bullpen. You can't keep using Gomez and Morris as they have, they need help. And I don't think Nance is than answer as he is better in the middle innings.
