    But Buxton can field. Every blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. DSan can't field or hit consistently. At least Buxton is a consistent Gold Glove caliber CF.

    I know we're in game 3, but Buxton should have been given a day off today. He isn't himself up there, probably in his head. He just looks completely overmatched. Also, WTF is DanSan doing on an MLB roster.

    I think Escobar has to due to the fact he is hitting .429 off Kennedy in 14 ABs. Very small sample size, but game 2 counts the same as game 162. Still questioning the decision to have Santiago #2 in the rotation. I'd like to see Gibson go today.

    I like it. Minor league deal. If it doesn't work nothing happens. However, if he doesn't make ML team out of ST, I say cut him. We don't need a 36 year old on the AAA roster.

    I agree with the FO strategy here. I think SS and CF specifically should value defense over offense.

    For a minor league deal I think it is a good move. Have an open competition this spring for the 25th bench spot between D-San, Stubbs, and possibly someone else. I'd like them to sign a few more vets for an open competition.

    If the deal is to play, it makes zero sense at all. If it is to be in the front office like Cuddy and Hunter, go for it.
