  1. Good article Nick, completely agree. When Sano comes back, put him at 3rd. He's not going to be any worse then Plouffe who just seems to have not elevated his game. Yea, he's become more consistent defensively but his BA/run production is not good. The so called Veteran Leadership of Plouffe, Dozier, Mauer doesn't exist, in fact it could be part of the problem.
  2. Be interesting if they have a innings limit on Jay but based on last start, goes 8 innings on only 98 pitches, 73 were strikes, mercy he's a strike throwing machine, backed up with mid 90s fb. I sure like what he's done so far.
  3. Great job Seth, loved the report. Hope you are right Spycake about Meyer's shoulder fatigue and possibly getting back into the rotation.
  4. Totally disappointed about handling of Meyer, quick hook after 2.2 innings by a Manager that's only been able to muster 8 freaking wins so far, worse in the AL. Now, I see tonight, Hughes, our grizzled vet with the multi million $ extension, allowed 6 runs in 2 innings. What am I missing here. I hate to say it, as I've personally seen Meyer pitch lights out, that maybe his been chance is to move on to a different org
  5. I agree with you on this one. Supposedly they brought up Meyer after that 16 inning Washington game because the bullpen was gassed. Now, they had a lot of relievers to pick from on there 40 man roster. Why Meyer? He was starting in AAA, not relieving. So, after, what 10 plus days rotting on the bench, he starts tonight. Oh boy, I think Molitor wants him to fail. How else can you explain this when I saw they moved Taylor Rodgers back to starting. Stretching him out, so they can replace lefty with lefty. I hope the Big Guy's on tonight. Proof them all wrong Mr Meyer.
  6. Great article Seth, Harrison seems to be one of those under the radar prospects (no flying pun intended). Watching him, he's a good hard nose ball player, middle of the order bat for Chattanooga, easily overlooked, plays a good outfield. I wish him the best. He kinda seems to me like a Plouffe/Cuddyer was at this stage of development. Hopes he makes it.
  7. Awesome news on Berrios. Hitting my favorite Atlanta watering hole tomorrow night to watch the game
  8. Couldn't agree with you more. Quit jacking Meyer around. Get your 2 top pitching prospects in the rotation and worry about the other guys later
  9. Hallelujah Hollywood. Jose is coming up. This is a great day in Twins land. Now, if they had just switched Duffey with Meyer, life would be perfect.
  10. Just saw the box score, 1 hit so far, Arcia up twice, strikes out both times, I see he's up to his old tricks. Man, this offense is offensive.
  11. Good article Cody and yes, his leadership, game calling is outstanding. With his bat coming around, could be reason why they let Hicks go
  12. Totally agree with nytwinsfan, having this LEFTY converted college reliever to starter throwing gas on 93rd pitch is a BFD. If he continues to make this kind of progress, I could see him ending the year in AA
  13. I should add I meant no disrespect to the current Chattanooga starters. They all work hard in being the best.
  14. Great report Seth, you do a terrific job keeping us informed Good to see Corey Williams get off to a strong start, as well as JT. Going to be quite the day when the Ft Myers starters move up and join the Chattanooga bullpen. Wow Awesome starts for Stewart and Meyer.
  15. Way to go Meyer, on the road, no walks, pitches into the 6th inning, firing on all cylinders. That's great news, he has to feel really good.
  16. AB Walker could be added to the list, being promoted to see if he can handle the off speed and so far, he's doing great. Agree with Harrison, this could be his make or break year. Another one to watch is Turner. If he can handle the hitting in AA, he maybe the 1st batter promoted to AAA and if it happens, he'll be in a Twins uni next year, as his defense is really special.
  17. Ok. Going out on a limb, Meyer will put it all together and be our future Ace. Good move by the FO to have him start. Fingers crossed he can pull it off.
  18. Keplers athleticism just stands out compared to everybody else. He's an igniter, gets things going. He should be up by June and if so, will be a ROY candidate. Long term, I see him as our future 1st baseman. Short term, pick any spot in the outfield.
  19. What impressed me the most is just how polished he is. He repeats his mechanics really well, going inside out with ease. Uses his fb for hitters to chase then drops a cb inside, really impressive.
