  1. Our bullpen didn't flunk the Baltimore tests. May not have aced this one, but i'm not entirely disappointed. (Of course i'm notoriously easy to please. A shiny sparkly W!) The Twins did get the lead going forward whilst Graham was on the mound so as vultured wins go, it seems almost standard. Just earlier in the game than usual. Not sure i had a real point, so thanks for the company, and g'night!
  2. Oh, perhaps that was what was actually happening. I was basing my statement of the statement of transforming, rather than the physical characteristics of a socket. But maybe that was a step up in the conversation... Sorry. Oh, did the game end while i was typing? Hurray for us.
  3. Is that dissipation? Interestingly, when i misspelled it, spell checker also offered disputation. I think it is cleverer than i.
  4. Oh yeah, i think so... Would like to have gotten him in, but i'm just greedy that way.
  5. I really hope there's a bottom of the 9th, even if someone else gets the 3 outs.
  6. Yeah, i know. I'll shoulder the blame of driving it home, but credit twinsnorth49 for the original thought.
  7. I thought the name was meant to be ironic, appealing to cheap hipsters. Isn't their management strategy trade anyone away due for a rays?
  8. "That's the one thing there's just too little of..." Sorry. It sounded like lyrics, what could i do?
  9. I dub him the Esco Baron. And his bat shall dive out of the sun (or bright light) on unsuspecting balls, and fell them into the outfield. Especially Snoopy's dog house. Oh, and Buxton wasn't bad neither. 10-6 half way through 5, ye cbu-ers.
  10. Oh yeah. Graham, it is goose egg time...
  11. Redemption for Dozier. Did he take a stolen base from Buxton? We shall never know...
  12. I think Santana is doing the Twins a favor, by not letting us get complacent. When we go toe to toe with the Blue Jays or Yankees (which we have already lulled into a false sense of security) we wanna be ready to play all 9 innings. If we coasted through this on the strength of that Sano dinger, would we be in shape?'
  13. Good so far... I blame Dozier for Sano not getting a slam.
  14. Good to hear! Hope he plays his heart out, and lifts them National parks up. For them, he can be the bus driver.
  15. But i think the bus is towing a band wagon. Will that hurt Mr. Dave? I'm also hoping Mr. Dave won't slow either the bus or the band wagon down too much. I guess i feel the need for speed. Well, velocity rather. That's harder to make rhyme...
  16. Thanks for the link! Yup, it's the day for banana splits and whiskey sours to kiss and make up. (I think they got angry because they both chose the same day and didn't want to share) Someone tell me how it ends... (Wait a moment. Can't kissing ruin make up?) Following the link, it is also National Park Service founding day, or something like that. But next year will be the real deal, as it is their centennial. I'm gonna probably try and make up for all my laziness, stuff like paying bills and vacuuming and sweeping, and putting toys away...
  17. I didn't realize it until i looked at a calendar yesterday, but i guess i'm celebrating my 15,000th today... I'm still wondering... how? Any recommendations for celebrating would not be taken amiss.
  18. I stand corrected. I'd be hard pressed to mistake a chicken for a turkey, i think. Or a chicken hawk. No matter what Foghorn Leghorn would say... But in the form of dinnah, well, i've been told many things taste like chicken.
  19. Concur. Yeah, i suppose crows, but if you told me it was a raven, i'd not be on solid ground to dispute. Likewise owls... Or ducks, geese, etc. I take that back. I bet i'd hold to my guns if i heard a loon and someone disputed it with me. Loony, that's it. Not gonna confuse the state bird.
