  1. Never got around to following Monk, though i am a fan of what Shalhoub i've seen. Was Weller a recurring character, or just a cameo? I certainly was pleased to see him in the recent Star Trek movie. Anyway, i think i owe a small apology for responding without actually watching your video... Now i have. Is good. And on topic, being about Tigers and all. I think my favorite tiger related lyrics at the moment are: "Catch the tail by the tiger. Take the horns by the bull. A bird in need is a friend indeed So pull the eyes over the wool." (lyrics written by someone of Canada, as i recall)
  2. I wasn't paying attention. Which one was Chief?
  3. I hope we win too, but i wouldn't want to get vindictive... I was satisfied with the original success of the conga line. and fer fun jest, ya made me think o' this... "Wherever you go..."
  4. And what's the going rate for Tiddlywinks analogies?
  5. This has disappeared from the forums, meaning it has been archived, i assume. But it would seem as an article i can still comment? I'd noticed this a while ago, but have been too lazy to test it... Today, i'm less lazy, but haven't anything to say. Planning ahead: all night games 'xcept Sundays... Only 21st is off. What will i do then? Anyway, until tonight... Oh yeah. I hope he caught some ice... It be depressing if he didn't.
  6. Alas, i think i started following SNL a little later. But bein' a fan of ol' time Radio, I personally like Wally Ballou. Anyway, goo' night all! Thanks for the company.
  7. I think it is a strongbad reference, and i got distracted looking up the most recent email... Lappier... I see we scored another run (5-2) as someone predicted: with a walk.
  8. Let us know... Does it taste like chicken?
  9. Oh yeah. 4-2 CBU. 9th inning. Almost there...
  10. I credit spell checker. What was this about insufferability? I don't think a post of mine will ever change that, and i wouldn't have it any other way.
  11. Isn't it the awl? At least it's one way to acquire a holier than thou status...
  12. I get it! Hunter... guns. That's funny. And forgive my ignorance, but is the Kalashnikov um, aka um... ak... 57? (No that's Heinz...) 47? yeah, that's it, right?
  13. Third time pays for all... 2-2 twain... er, i mean tie, as Torii doubles in Rosario.
  14. A homely homonym homily. Ya know yer Anglish Instructor well.
  15. I don't know... I was just paraphrasin' ol' Ben, figuring it was a change of pace from doin' Yoda.
  16. Oops. 2-1 Chicago. Dinger to center field, of all fields... And with a runner on first.
  17. I also meant to ask what it's like. It is noble of you to sacrifice watching the Twins for this festive commemoration.
  18. I'll try do better about scores and such. For instance, the White Sox had runners at first and second, and hit a single to right field. Who's the more foolish? The 3rd base coach who sends him, or the runner that follows him?
  19. Anyway, 1-0, Twins. Still so, courtesy of a throw by Mr. Hunter and his second assist.
  20. Yankees indeed modulate frequency... Though i still like amplitude modulation, myself. Don't need stereo so much, and like being able to pick up Chicago stations in Minnesota if i have to.
