    Have we not learned anything over the past umpteen years? Think about how many minor league prospects were touted as the next great <fill in the blank>. Now, how many of those reached the expectations that you had for them? Comparing Graterol to David Price is just <fill in the blank>.

    Didn't think we were in trouble for the division until tonight.

    I would not say the White Sox are awful this year....I gagged on a bit of mouth vomit saying that...they are young, but they are getting better as the season goes on and will be solid next year and for years to come unless Kenny Williams decides to "go all in" again.

    It's not like they are clobbering the ball, they are just dinking and dunking it where we aren't. Sometimes lucky beats good.

    Hmmm. I would say that the odds are that we will score more than 3 runs....what are the odds that the Sox keep hitting the ball where we aren't?

    Here's a couple of possibilities - Squiggy Squirrel, Nutty T. Squirrel, Minny Squirrel (although that could constitute and infringement on Minnie and Paul), Rally Squirrel, and the obvious Hammy T. Squirrel which is borrowed from Over the Hedge. However, I think his name is just a single name...kind of like Cher, Madonna....and now Bomba. His name is just Bomba.

    Turned on the game saw 2 fat pitches get whacked. First base open, their best hitter, 2 outs, no point in challenging him...and meatball over the fence. If we don't execute better than that, the 2.5 games will be gone soon.

    I think it makes sense. I know that they are working with his mechanics a bit, but if you are going to rest him, now is the time, but let's not assume that we win the next few games. We have to show up, play well, and if we manage to pull a little further away from the Tribe, then rest him a start.

    Anyone else think that playing playoff baseball before the playoffs is advantageous to locking up your spot early? Not the wildcard playoff since you burn your ace but in a division battle where every pitch matters. I don't know if stats back it up but it seems like getting into that mindset is good.

    Yeah, I think Luis was taking what they were giving....more curiously, Ryan Braun attempting to bunt with 2 outs? What was that about?

    A collapse indicates that one team lost it rather than another team winning it. I would say right now that the Twins aren't losing it....that may still happen, but Cleveland is playing better than any other team in the AL right now. Gotta give them some credit.

    Painful...just tough to watch. He seems to have no real idea where his fastball is going....might as well use it to drill the mascot...if he could hit TC.

    Two of four and I'll be thrilled. One of four is probably what I expect based on recent play...I think we have been sloppy on the mound and sloppy in the field. Anyone know what our winning percentage is when Buxton is on IL?
