  1. Yes, and that's the true sign of a pitcher not a guy that just throws and throws. If your fastball, changeup, curveball, whatever pitch is not working that night you change things up and work through it. That's a fantastic sign for Bradley and the Twins.
  2. Yeah...uh....Lee. The sooner Culpepper is called up the better. Luke Keaschall at 2nd and Kaelen Culpepper at 3rd.
  3. I THINK the Twins struck gold with Bradley and eventually Abel, who also has fantastic stuff. The front office should trade Ryan while they still can get prospects for him or sign him to an extension, but don't wait much longer either way. A rotation of Ryan, Bradley, Abel, SWR, + has huge potential. The question is what happens to all the rest in AAA? Matthews, Morris, Festa, etc.
  4. Yes. Hopefully Culpepper and Rodriguez get the call soon. Jenkins will probably be in the fall but they need the reinforcements
  5. Dumpster diving at it's finest. Every once in a few decades you find treasures, most times you climb out of the bin empty handed, stinky, and humiliated in front of your fans.
  6. This is a 90 to 100 loss team, no question about it in my head. Gonna be a LONG season.
  7. I've been saying this for years. The Umps behind the plate are too inconsistent and some of them are downright bad at defining the strike zone consistently with their calls. Just switch over already and be done with it.
  8. The Lewis Lee duo is scary and not in a good way.
  9. I think that the Montreal situation is more complex though. The Expos only pulled more than 2 million fans in a season on 4 occasions (1979, 1980, 1982, and 1983) in the 35 years they were up there. Even in 1993 when they won 94 games they didn't even get close to 2 million fans in attendance. Plus, Olympic stadium was a toilet bowl of a venue to watch a baseball game in. Simply put, French Canadians are not big baseball fans and I have Canadian in-laws so I can speak to this. All that said, the Expos got sc**w'd by MLB and the strike in 1994. They would have almost certainly beaten the Yankees in the world series that year. The Braves were also a strong contender too.
  10. I agree. I think this team is an easy 100 loss ballclub this season. The pitching has talent but the offense is just abysmal, actually brutally bad.
  11. Offense is anemic again. The Twins need to wake up and smell the coffee and get Culpepper, Jenkins, and Rodriguez up here as soon as possible. They need the bats now, not 50 - 60 losses to start the season before doing so.
  12. He’s a complete sucker for breaking balls. Not good
  13. Yeah. That raised some eyebrows when he said that and there have been numerous other things he’s said to the media that have a lot of us questioning his baseball IQ.
  14. Maybe the title of the article should be that Correa was very foolish and nearly drowned. Your very far from shore on a boat and apparently not a good swimmer and jump into the water with your 10 year old son, your child, your most important responsibility to protect and be a good parent to and you act foolishly like that. Sorry no empathy from me.
  15. I don’t think the rotation will be the Achilles heel of this team, it will likely be the anemic offense again. There are so many question marks with the infield. Lewis looks to be picking up where he left off with his slump in 2025 which is extremely disappointing
  16. I’m actually stoked about Bradley and Abel in the rotation. If I’m being completely honest I don’t think Ober is gonna be in the rotation long unless his velocity picks back up so Zebby will have a few starts to fine tune things
  17. I would have liked to have seen E-Rod make the team as well but I think the Twins want him playing everyday so it’s understandable
  18. Glad to see Abel and Bradley making the rotation
  19. Exactly. And yet we are being told by the homers in this forum that were being ridiculous and making outlandish statements. Really? The guy is not even hitting 90? Perhaps Ober needs to start throwing a knuckle ball to save his career.
  20. If he holds that line through the season I'd be happy as a pig in bleep. 😁
