  1. They could send Luke Keaschall down to the Saints for a bit to figure things out and call up Culpepper and give him a look.
  2. Lewis and Lee chased pitches out of the zone all of last season. That's why it's so devastating to have them both in the lineup at the same time.
  3. Connor Prielipp has excellent stuff, he always has. it's just a matter of him staying healthy
  4. Yeah well some here were really jumping on the bandwagon saying Lee has turned a corner and is now a MLB caliper SS with this heating streak he was on. I keep on saying, just wait and see.
  5. The only result of that is the player(s) charge into the stands and start a massive mele. Similar to what happened in the Palace years ago in 2004.
  6. yeah fingers crossed Prielipp keeps rolling in St. Paul. He's got dynamic stuff as a starter. I still don't think Ober is gonna be in the rotation long term. He's doing okay at the moment, but his days are numbered in my opinion.
  7. Honestly, i like Shelton's approach with the starting rotation. IT's still early on but it looks like he prefers to let the starters go longer if they are rolling well and not laboring with high pitch counts unlike Baldelli who yanked his starters consistently even if they were doing well in an outing.
  8. Wasn't there a Family Guy Episode where Peter founded Petoria, lol?
  9. Unacceptable. I've seen rowdy fans before but saying something like that...inexcusable even against the opponents. It's not mad max thunder dome.
  10. Yeah I don't agree with his statement either. Abel and Bradley (different trade) certainly didn't fall into the Twins laps. Falvey had to work for them. I think a lot of the fans were so pissed off by that flurry of trades last year (and understandably so), but I think we need to be careful and not get so despondent about the situation and blind ourselves into thinking we got nothing in return to feel better about it all. If both these pitchers fulfill their potential as 2/3 level starters (and I would argue both could potentially be top of the rotation starters in time if all goes well....knock on wood), both trades are win, win, there's no question about it. I'm honestly stoked about having both.
  11. This. A guy that can throw up to 97 / 98 but has good change, slider, sweeper, curve and USES them often to get guys out AND can throw them for strikes too. That's money, money, money. That has long term starter and potential ace written all over it. I'm honestly thrilled we have Abel and Taj. Both those guys are gonna be good.
  12. That's part of improving. You limit your slumps. I'm looking at all the games so far not just the last six. It's a long season.
  13. No i get it and point taken. In the last six games he's been great, but in the aggregate whole he got off to a putrid start. It's those peaks and valleys that make a season for a player. If he can reduce the slumps then i'm sold, but last season was not reassuring.
  14. Google AI states that the ABS system is highly accurate with a median margin of error of roughly 0.16 inches (4.1mm). During 2026 spring training , the system showed 95% confidence in tracking to within 0.39 inches and 99% confidence within 0.48 inches. In other words the confidence tracking is not the same as actual measured accuracy which is to within 0.16 inches. That's actually pretty darn good.
  15. I think the Twins struck gold with Taj Bradley and Mick Abel. Time will tell but these two look pretty good so far.
  16. Barely. He's hitting a few dingers but still swinging a lot at stuff out of the strike zone, but I suppose any improvement is better than no improvement.
  17. Isn't it measured with a laser? It's gotta be more accurate than 0.48 inches. 0.48 inches off in that proximity would be HUGE.
  18. Lots of shortstops at the top of the draft this year. I'd take Flora #1 and if he's gone by pick 3 then Lackey. Good catchers that can also hit well are rare so it's a close pick between Flora and Lackey. Flora has a plus plus changeup and a dynamic fastball, which screams ace to me. I think you have to take him if he falls to #3, but that's my opinion. Lebron scares me. He has a tendency to chase pitches out of the zone FREQUENTLY which could make him a strikeout prone hitter. I'd take Emerson or Cholowsky before Lebron.
  19. I agree. Sign Jeffers and Ryan now. If not they have to trade them.
  20. It's also possible there were some club house cancers traded away last deadline and the youngsters are happy to be playing for a different manager. Ducks.
  21. I must confess I'm very pleasantly surprised at the start this team had. Sooooo much better than last year. Perhaps they will surprise a lot of people and keep this going.
  22. Yeah. I am NOT a fan of Lee at Short. He's simply not good enough for that position.
