  1. Pushing up Walker to Triple AAA will not solve anything. He is going to strikeout a ton anywhere, you could demote him to A ball and he probably will lead the strikeouts. The Twins want the strikeouts to go down for Walker but pushing prospects that are strikeout prone aggressively almost always backfires. Now, what the Twins really want is him to get a better idea of the strike zone, he needs to start walking a bunch to be a real prospect. Like Miguel Sano. The Twins do what they think is best based on the individual. Trust the process. If your going to complain about the Twins there are much better subjects to chew on. Like relief pitching...
  2. I believe that Stephen Vogt will cool down considerably this half. He is not used to this kind of playing so his play will level off. Already has to some extent. I'd be more interested in Padres Derek Norris. Besides sharing the same first name, I feel he could benefit from a move from that park much like Grandal did.
  3. Now, this is a new one. Usually its Rosario to 2nd base, Dozier to SS. Mauer to Catcher. Plouffe to 1st. Sano to third. Arcia to left.
  4. I'd rather have the draft pick next year. Probably will be a deeper draft and when was the last time a 2nd round pick made a difference? I guess Berrios could be but he was almost 1st round. Otherwise it's been Luke Bard, Eades, and a whole bunch of blah
  5. Not worried. Now if he wasn't striking many batters out and walking a bunch then I would be worried. Dude has like 7 innings pitched.
  6. Except options equal value so to say Meyer is useless is not true
  7. That either Arcia or Meyer gets traded before the deadline. Reason is they aren't necessarily ready to help the club or there is a clear fit. Granted injuries happen, but I'm thinking the front office is willing to deal them. Obviously, bullpen help and a catcher is needed but I'm afraid one of them will be traded for a bullpen arm.
  8. Remember Revere's arm? He could throw it to home plate on about 5 hops from shallow center
  9. Sorry, no to that whole idea.
  10. Don't be fooled by his ERA, he strikes out around 6 per 9 and walks about 5 per 9. I think part of the reason his ERA is so good is because KC other relievers are crazy good and probably stranded a few or a bunch of his baserunners.
  11. They need a good setup man before I get too excited.
  12. I'd hate to break the news but some things are going to go the other way here soon. Perkins isn't going to save every game, Dozier has been something else but he will slump sometime, Hunter will fade a bit. The good news is Hughes will probably perform better, base running will get a bit better.
  13. Oh look another baserunner thrown out
  14. While Buxton is way better then Hunter when it comes to defense, the same can be said about Buxtons offense. He struggled hit breaking pitches and he needs to master Triple A first. If I remember right, advanced stastics only had him hitting .220 some when he came up for the rest of the year. Simply put, his bat needs work.
  15. I was excited to read Stewarts line since you mentioned him then I saw the walk to strikeout ratio ICK
  16. Time to put in Arcia for the grand slam!
  17. Lets see... A yacht, mansion, tons of hot maids, another mansion somewhere tropical... What am I missing?
  18. Well, if things break right, maybe a series split?
  19. Crap, I called it on the 3-0 count to Kinsler. Was thinking it's going to be 5-0 here in a second
  20. Great, looks like MVP Verlander on the mound tonight
  21. Well the nice thing about next inning is that Suzuki and Robinson can be pinch hit for LOL
  22. Why did he face Kinsler? Dude homered off him to begin the game remember?
  23. Not to mention, Mauer and Plouffe can get a breather every now and then, pushing Sano to the field and Arcia to the DH. Plus that would mean one nice bench bat. I miss those days of a pinch hitter that could actually do something once in awhile.
  24. Price is going to go on a roll now
