So, I guess you want to tell me how great the AL Central was all those years. I also forgot about all those playoff victories Gardy has or should we say HAD. I wanted him gone after all those embarrassing years in the playoffs against NYY. -
I don't care or have any wild guesses who the new manager should be. My only hope is that it is somebody from OUTSIDE the organization. New blood is needed!!! The same goes for Terry Ryan and find somebody with some talent fast before they screw up the #2 pick in the upcoming draft.

Not to crush the Central Division Titles that Gardy won, but it was because the whole division stunk and we came out on top. And everyone knows what happened once those great teams entered the playoffs.

Have you ever heard of a guy named Mike Trout? The Angels would have not much interest in Span.

That means you are in trouble and getting the ax eventually. A vote of confidence when you suck is really a vote of no confidence. Just get Ryan out of here before the draft so he doesn't screw that up. Only problem who do you get to replace him this late into the season.

What would it take to pry Mark Trumbo off the Angels? He would be a nice fit at 1B with all the questions with Morneau. Would they actually have any interest in any prospects the Twins have? I would include Valencia in the deal if they would take him. Maybe Glen Perkins could be a piece of the deal.

I really don't think Hamels is an Ace at all. No way the Twins will ever drop $18.5 for a pitcher. But, they also paid a hometown PREMIUM for a catcher so so never know.....

A Span trade must happen if we want to contend by 2014 at the earliest. I would say a Ben Revere trade also but he wouldn't have much trade value with his current play.

I would say Tim Hudson if his option for 2013 is not picked up. Or bottom feed " the Twins way" I would say Erik Bedard as a value pick. Also, what about Brandon McCarthy? Not good enough for this list?

Any interest in Blake DeWitt since the Cubs designated him for assignment? Maybe he might be better than Burroughs and somebody to push Valencia to play better. I'm not sure how much I like the idea of Carroll playing at 3B. [h=1][/h]

Pitching to Extraordinary Contact

It's ok to pitch to contact when the ball doesn't land in the cheaps seats for a homer... What is wrong with copying Greg Maddux and have good control and work inside and outside and up and down in the strike zone. He had a pretty good career not throwing much harder than the mid to upper 80's fastball. -
But the double steal with the Angels up 5-0 must be ok in your little unwritten rules of baseball. Especially again a team that is struggling so bad.

"better than Mauer at hitting for average?" So how many batting titles will Hermann win? That even cracks me up so he will win 5-6 titles in the majors, I could say I was not very impressed with his BA in the minors so far in his minor league career.
