    Can he pitch? That is where all the problems start when you can't hold a team down with lousy starting pitching. You could add any one bat to this team and you would still have the same result. If they had Fielder, Pujols, Kemp or Cabera solo HR's are not gonna help when nobody can get on base.

    If only Garza and Bartlett were still here we would have as close as an ace as we will ever get and a decent SS. Just wait until the month is over and hope it takes 2 hands to count the amount of wins the club has.

    Why I like Revere. 1. Noodle arm 2. Lack of power 3. Speed is his game, if he pulls a hammy or quad he is as worthless as Gardy as a manager.

    I would have traded Revere when he still had some value in the off season. And for all the Dozier talk, he is hitting against minor league pitching for a week so far. Sano might make it interesting if he continues to rip the cover off the ball.

    Come on guys it's only the first game of the season. If anything you should be second guessing yourself for thinking that Gardy would be smart enough to make a proper decision no matter the situation. He probably bases his decisons by using a magic eight ball.

    So does that me CC Sabathia would not be worth it if he was available for the minimum? Position: Pitcher Bats: Left, Throws: Left Height: 6' 7", Weight: 290 lb. Which 290 lb is probably 20 lb under his actual weight.

    Which catcher would you put on this list Butera or Towles? Neither one should make majors.

    Do you really need that question to be answered? Deer in the Headlight look says it all. But, before you judge him remember all those AL Central titles we won and all those playoff games we lost. Case closed.

    So where will Nishioka play at AAA? Or will they just be smart and use him as a platoon player for Rochester. I would hate to see Brian Dozier lose any playing time because of him. Do you think Dozier will be turned into 2b and move him off SS?

    My thoughts on Nishioka, if you really want to get rid of him you take him off the 40 man roster ASAP. Just think how hurt his ego must be having to go to AAA, you pull him off the 40 man it would be a huge blow to his name and reputation he built in Japan. He would look like a total failure to his people of Japan. I would think he would have his agent come to the Twins and try to work out some sort of buyout. That's when you say no and tell him you are sending him to Class A or so to work on his game, which would be such a disgrace he will just go away without compensation. Why release him and pay him when you can just let him rot in the minors. I guess it's time for a Bill Smith mention for making the signing but he is not alone when it came to scouting Nishioka. Too bad he can't be blamed for Marquis and Capps.

    Who did you draft with? Craig Kimbrel 18th overall? I don't think he would have picked himself that early.

    What is wrong with Terry Doyle? The Twins should have drafted a better pitcher with the 2nd pick in the Rule 5 draft. I think it would have been better if they would selected a hard thrower and used him out of the bullpen, like they did with Santana. Maybe they can make a deal with Chicago and send him to Rochester. As long as they don't have to give up as much as they did for Diamond who was more like a waste of time.

    Unless a guy is part terminator TJ surgery is probably inevitable for almost all power pitchers. Lucky for the Twins they don't believe in the fantasy of power pitchers who strike guys out.

    Players can come here ride out their service time and hope the great minds don't ruin their skills. Just watch Liriano will be an Ace again when he leaves MN and gets real coaches to fix what the Twins did to him.

    Finally a great post from Fanatic Jack! I agree with this statement 100%. I am only confused when people say Giolito will go first and we need to hope Appel will still be available when we pick NEXT. Maybe the Twins will just draft another OF because they only have OF prospects that they value so high and would never trade and then they end up complete failures. I would be talking about Aaron Hicks who they should have dealt for Cliff Lee.
