    I hate to be lazy, but who was the last player drafted that has made an impact in the majors? I know it would have been Kyle Gibson if not for the surgery.

    I would kill for another player like Chuck Knoublach!!! He was one of the best 2nd basemen that has ever played for the Twins ( obviously behind Rod Carew). He was tough as nails and was not an easy out. Without him they might not have made it to the World Series in 1991. I don't know why people waste their time running down former players who are down from the level they were when they played. Too bad he couldn't handle the pressure of playing in New York.

    He's gotta go now. He stinks, it looks like he is throwing BP to all hitters. There has to be better options than putting him out there. Duensing or Swarzak should replace him in the rotation and call up Lester Oliveros or Deolis Guerrato fill in the bullpen.

    If you have a solid rotation (which the Twins clearly don't) you should never have more than 12. Also, what's the deal with all the OF's?

    Not sure how the new draft system works with compensation of signing high profile players but I would assume the Twins 1st round pick would be protected like it would have been in the past. Like someone else said he would want to play for a contender and also want a huge long term deal.

    Don't you remember all those division titles Gardy won and how he got destroyed in the playoffs? He should have been fired before it got to this point. In the NFL you can have one of the best records and fall flat on your face in the playoffs you are a goner. Go away Gardy and take all your friends/coaches with you.

    Twins should have traded for AJ Burnett. Pittsburgh gave up basically nothing for him and NYY paid for most of the contract.

    Who will be the player named to the All Star game this year? I am drawing a blank on who actually deserves to be an All Star. Ryan Doumit has been playing pretty good lately but he is not worthy of the honor.

    You may be correct, but there will also be more players available for contending teams to choose from. You don't want another Santana situation where you passed on a great deal and get stuck holding onto to Span or worse yet taking a lesser deal than you could have accepted now.
