    I forgot to note he is 4 for 4 in save opportunities. Not that it means much in the GCL, but hey it's someone to look forward to seeing in the future possibly closing out games.

    Jose Berrios record his 4th save tonight. In 5 appearances he has struck out 12 in 7 innings. It seems like a good start and hopefully more to come.

    My mistake, I thought you were talking about the Capps for Ramos deal. My problem with the draft is that they drafted a bunch of relief pitchers. So will they be able to convert some of these arms to SP? I just hope nobody they drafted gets clocked above 96 mph or they will be traded since they wouldn't fit into the system of pitching to contact.

    Not sure how you link Plouffe and Brunansky together. I didn't think he spent any time in the minors this year.

    If he never sucked so bad he never would have sent down in the first place. Whether he just got lazy or didn't put in the work to maintain his job only he knows that for sure. I also think he might have a little trouble reclaiming 3rd base now when Plouffe has been one of the biggest surprises in the Majors with his play in the last couple of months.

    Exactly! Don't people remember all those Division titles Gardy won... Oh yeah and then they got their clocks cleaned in the playoffs. So people want to say 2011 and 2012 are not his fault but would say he was a great manager when they won all those AL Central titles. You can't have it both ways, it is time for a change whether it is not his fault. I would be happy to see some new blood finally so the Twins can turn/burn these horrible years from our memories and start clean in 2013 and contend once again. BYE BYE Gardy and take Nicky with you..

    I missed most of the game tonight and would like a report on how Samuel Deduno looked tonight against a tough Rangers lineup. What does he throw for pitches and what was his fasball clocked at?

    I hate to post this because I would have to say he is the classiest guy with the biggest heart but is it time to slide Justin Morneau to bat 7th or so in the lineup? You never heard Justin complain and ask to come out of games because of his injuries over the years unlike some "other guy we all know". I wonder if Justin would be better served taking off games to keep his concussion relapses from coming back.

    This would be as dumb as giving Joe Mauer or Ron Gardenhire contract extensions right now.

    You forgot one more thing Mauer leads AJ in, and he leads him by a HUGE number. That would be of course trips to the DL. 1 trip for AJ in his entire career and I would have to say Mauer has to be close to 10 trips to the DL. Yes, Mauer is the greatest #3 hitter in MLB history and don't forget it.

    What a joke! He played 35 games at catcher and only has a good BA with no power. A.J. Pierzynski should have been named ahead of Mauer.

    I am just waiting for Nickie to come forward and claim some weird injury for the reason for his downward spiral. If he needs any foolish aliments he would just need to consult Joe Mauer and he could come up with something for him.

    Whoa, even Seth has had enough of Nick Blackburn. Any chance we could trade him to the St Paul Saints for that little pig if they still have it?
