  1. I am once again being lectured on another site than NFL teams don't draft to fill holes in round one or two.... They just take BPA....
  2. Ya, that's just not true. Go compare him to other hitters.... He really struggled in leverage situations last year, but that might be a fluke. He was also injured. Emma? Exciting, bit I'm not sure his approach will actually work in the majors. We'll find out this year somewhat, I believe.
  3. They aren't sending him down. It's just not happening.
  4. I have no idea why anyone would give up on Wallner at this point in his career. Larnach? 100% at his pay and career.
  5. I'm sure someone voted down these actual facts for a reason. What that might be, I have no idea.
  6. In the 73.5 thread, I picked over, but I'm losing confidence.... But I'll go with 76 for fun. They'd have to get health from Buxton and Lewis and Wallner hitting in high leverage situations. It's really the bullpen blowing the occasional lead that worries me. See, talked myself down to 72....
  7. Feel free to come into an optimism post! I'm just trying to be in the spirit of the thread.
  8. I think Roden hitting like Larnach but playing above average defense is about fifty fifty.
  9. I really like the rotation possibilities. I like Keaschell. I like Wallner being more consistent. That's three for me....
  10. I'm guessing several real prospects are in AA, behind bad veterans at AAA.....
  11. People trade guys who were round 1 picks all the time. How is that embarrassing?
  12. Larnach has a career of "about average hitter" and terrible defense. Who is trading for that in a month? No one makes trades in May. Outman? Hasn't been even Vazquez like* in 2 years....... *an exaggeration...
  13. Neither Larnach nor Outman should be on this roster. Completely unserious organization.
  14. Fans think teams sign RPs to trade them at the deadline. Fangraphs looked at this a few years ago, and it just isn't something teams do.
  15. Much like trading Larnach has worked out, I suspect..... I see zero evidence anything has changed with this organization at all. No real surprise, they haven't made any real change other than the manager in years.
