  1. In any event, if you won't take coaching, you likely aren't going to get better. Scottie Scheffler makes changes...... confident humans are willing to do so.
  2. Except he's been awful for a year, and he refuses to change or take coaching. So it's not like he's getting a huge raise this way.
  3. Agreed. Always hurt. Won't switch positions. Won't take coaching. Not good for a year. He really is not a team guy, and he's not a star that allows others to ignore that.
  4. I don't get why they are trying to make him a starter at this point. He won't start next year in the majors, most likely (innings and all)....there may not be a season in 27......make him a RP and get him in the majors making real money (and helping the team).
  5. Outman and Roden until they bring up a legit prospect or two......they aren't paying Larnach 4 million dollars to be bad. No way.
  6. I can't see any way Larnach is on this roster next year. He's the definition of replacement level. They can get that from one of the non-Kiersey guys in the minors (or Outman / Roden).
  7. If you think there might not be baseball in '27 (which I don't), and you think this team is 1-2 years from being good, then you trade Ryan and Lopez (and jettison Larnach however you can), and wait until '28 or '29...... I have no idea why they'd keep the payroll up at all at this point. With ESPN taking over mlb.tv, there will be even less subscribers, IMO. Where is the money coming from to have a decent payroll? Why do we think they can compete next year? Do we think there is a full season in '27?
  8. He also worked out with McCarthy this off season, IIRC.
  9. Some of these guys are playing for their future.
  10. One of the other catchers for sure. 100%. Eeles over Julien. Though that's mostly "whatever, I just am done with Julien". One of the guys they just traded for over Urena. That's not hard at all.....
  11. I just want results. Lewis, 1:1.....not good other than a short stretch (might be health related), Lee: 1:5 (not good, yet?). They are going to miss the playoffs for the 4th time in 5 years.....how Flavey and Bladelli still have jobs is beyond me.
  12. Lewis and Lee not making me confident it matters.
  13. Urena, Gasper, Julien, Clemens..... Should not be on the roster.
  14. And yet, we have Urena starting, and Gasper and Clemens on the roster. And Julien.
  15. Not that PFF is great anymore.....but Phillips has gotten worse (below average, actually) each of the last three years.....
  16. The more I step back from this, the better I feel. I think they like the younger players!
  17. Their number three has a week to week injury, and Addison is out three weeks ...
  18. I'm all in on trying to win the next two years with Addison..... And TJ.
  19. That was my theory . But I just read they are paying half his salary.
  20. Seems odd ....
