  1. If we only had one data point, it would be silly. And, I don't know, maybe that was clearly an exaggeration? No one gets fired during a draft.....
  2. What if he doesn't want to sign here? Is make that trade for three years of him.... But not three months.
  3. How anyone can defend leaving this offense as is is beyond me at this point.
  4. If Hader had another year on his deal, i MIGHT send Schoebel for him.....but not half a year I don't think. This offense stinks. They need to fix that much more than the bullpen.
  5. The average between 6 and 21 is 13.....between 6 and 35 is 21......I guess I could look at the board? Also, I don't think "bad" is the right word. Wrong at 5? yes. Not likely to be elite? Yes. Possibly at best a 2B thet hits like Martin w/o the speed? Yes.
  6. How is Gonzales that high if FG had him 35 and Fox 21? Thanks for this. Teel now 6th. He's number five on my list, given the hip issues of Jenkins.
  7. You'd trade 6 years of Winder and 6 years of Headrick for half a year of Hader? No way they are taking Gallo back if they are selling....
  8. I thought that too.....but I see no hitters advancing this year, other than college guys that were in low A. Hoping that changes after the draft, but Severino has no business in AA at this point. Especially with Miranda in MLB. No OFers can be promoted, because they are full of AAAA and MLB players in St. Paul, which is holding back every other level.
  9. 100% if they have money to spend next year, it should be on pitching. Because it make your eyes hurt to look at the hitter choices outside a few.
  10. I would bet every fan wants this! It would also speed up how fast bad teams get better, as I'd bet good teams send out a lot of 2nd round picks for current MLB players as rentals.
  11. Look up appeal to authority. Seth also uses it.... Seems like an owner of this site would encourage conversation, but what do I know?
  12. The Twins gave up middling prospects last year, and much of the fan base here still hasn't forgiven them.... What would you give up?
  13. Also, can you find one site updated in the last two weeks that has him top 12? CBS has him 21 and FG in the 30s..... He's not anywhere near top ten right now.
  14. Zero chance I trade Scobel for Hader, let alone him and another guy.
  15. In fairness, FG and this site and sometimes MLB or CBS are where I get my info....so I'm likely to agree with FG. To me, it isn't that he might not be good, it's that his ceiling isn't worth number 5, and you MIGHT be able to get him at their second pick the way he's falling. The big part of that write up is that he hasn't gotten better each year, or even close. That's a huge red flag to me.
  16. Ya, I had high hopes, but he's like fifth in league OPS among SS.......to be clear, I'm not giving up at all, still a believer, I just believed he'd be great and in AAA already....and he's not close.
  17. I don't get your first line? It is awfully appeal to authority and basically says that 90% of what this site is for is not right? Outside maybe three people here, I doubt anyone has scouted these guys....
  18. I like all those players...but Julien can't field. Wallner and Larnach, despite their ages, are sitting in AAA not playing. Rooker? One good month isn't changing my mind (and I hated the pick, not a fan of bat only players that high). Lee and Schobel look legit, but they need to be promoted, IMO. I had high hopes Lee would give them their first healthy helium guy but he's been very good, but not great. They've had some awful high picks the last few years......if they go with a guy that might be available at 34 with pick 5, I'll rip them left and right.....
