    Mostly staying away these days, but I have to echo those not happy Margot is in the lineup, let alone leading off. WTAF? Farmer, Margot, Vazquez? Just admit you aren't even trying to win at this point......and trade anyone making money so the owners get what they want, more money.

    Mid- year seems wasteful. Promote them now. Emma should be in the Twins' lineup the second half this year at some point. Ohl isn't being challenged right now.....but they'll likely wait longer than I want.

    Fangraphs has a top 100 prospect update....from "others we almost put in the top 100." Luke Keaschall, 2B/CF, Minnesota Twins As we approach work on the Twins list from top to bottom, we checked on Keaschall, who has done nothing but rake since entering pro ball, albeit in a relatively small sample. He’s shown feel for the zone, bat control, and modest power. Keaschall has never been a very good infield defender and the Twins have been experimenting with him in center field. He is very much still learning to play out there. Rubel Cespedes, 3B, Minnesota Twins Cespedes is a potential plus third base defender with a 70 arm, capable of hosing guys from deep in the corner.     You can only make the trade you can make. They weren't getting a good major league player for polanco.

    I don't think they match the price the Orioles paid, so I'm not sure that's a fair comparison. The biggest mistake is Margot, though the only one I pointed out before the season was Santana..... So what do I know. I didn't point out the pitching because I'm not sure who they realistically sign, budget cut or not.

    If they aren't making the playoffs, and they likely aren't, I hope they have exciting games, and lose a lot..... That schedule looks pretty hard given last year's record.....

    This wasn't about Martin, but I found it instructive for him (and others)......Those here that think there is no development left in MLB (and there are some of you here)....this is for you: Keith Law 1:39 Don't think he has anything to learn in AAA. The gap between that level and the majors is enormous. Teams have to adjust and be willing to let hitters come up and struggle for a few months as they adjust to better pitching.

    Been impressed at him again this year, was not expecting him to be good again, given his history. Excellent signing by the FO.

    Different things.... People here seem to be complaining they are free, but on the wrong app.... Don't get me wrong, baseball broadcasting is broken..... We all agree on that.

    This is why some of us wanted him off SS and in the OF much sooner in the minors.... He's been ok, but I agree, he should go back down when Buxton is ready. And, put Emma in AAA
