If they believe in him so much, why 8 whopping snaps against the Rams? Also, if he plays the same position as two all pros, when does he play? They have no picks this year because of him. He has to provide the value of two starters, or it was a bad trade.

Assuming they go with McCarthy, you have to give him lots of help. I just can't see dealing Addison. The suspension could be an issue...

It's so good, so very good. Apple has the best slate. We're streaming The Gentlemen, Dr Who (the Whitaker years), and Leverage Redemption. Likely to start skeleton crew soon. Oh and some Italian show on Netflix about a female lawyer in the 19th century.

I've considered Addison, but he's way too good to deal right now. I agree, trade down is most likely.

I've suggested trading Hockenson, but I'd bet he's worth a late second at best. Given their inability to draft well, do you do that? You're likely trading him for a RB or DL, I'd think at that point. It frees up some real money, I'd guess.... There are at least two guards projected in the late first early second that I'd take..

Also, these deals are somewhat sealed a year or two ago.....so they might have been better or worse looking as (yikes) 14 year olds. It kind of sounds gross, but this is life changing money for a lot of these guys.

At least two TDs.....also, you must have missed some scrapes. I recall more, and I only watched the first half. It's water under the bridge from a Darnold perspective, but gives one hope about the play calling....

agreed on all points. These are, largely, lottery tickets....though the highest dollar hitters do become good players at a much higher rate than the random players.....

Paddock is a "key player"? For what team? I've never felt they were trading Vazquez, and have no idea why anyone else did.

Fangraphs has their ratings up. They aren't kind to Minnesota....

Nope. He showed that even after half a decade in the game, he's not able to play on the big stage. I could forget one game, but not both of these. The Bucs didn't have their QB if the future in the roster. They made their bed drafting McCarthy, now they have to use that cap space wisely.
