    Hughsie taken yard again in top of third. Kepler had an outfield assist earlier. No wild throws by Polanco or Sano. Did I mention how much I like Buxton this year? 5-3 Twins, middle of the 3rd.

    Split squad. Coaches went with the B-team and minor leaguers up to Bradenton. A-team staying back and playing Baltimore B-team. Polanco just hit a granny. Buxton having good at bats. Hughsie getting roughed up a little.

    Sorry to hear that about Sano, but I don't doubt it. I'm usually more frustrated watching him bat than field. Even as a check swing machine he should put up nice numbers, but not to the level of the MVP hype. Maybe he needs a bigger bat grip, or to move way up in the box and swing through. Maybe he doesn't have that good "batters vision." Who knows.

    My right-wing social media brethren have been somewhat silent with the memes lately. I will take that as a good sign, of fatigue from defending this guy, or even better that they are wanting to put some distance between themselves and what he stands for.

    Well according to Parker's most recent ST update, Hughsie will be making his next start in an intra-squad scrimmage rather than an actual game. I will try not to read too much into it but if Hughes is one of Molitor's locks, I would think Hughes would be on the same schedule as everyone else. I still have a hard time believing he will be at 100% by the start of the season.

    As long as Hughes can get outs, he can give 43% for all I care. But I have my doubts.

    Why haven't i seen this thread? 1. Calvin & Hobbes 2. Peanuts (sorry Snoopy) 3. Everything else, led by Bloom County. I liked Tom Tomorrow in the early 2000s. I also kind of like For Better or Worse. New Yorker cartoons. Far Side was great but I preferred the multiple panels of the others.

    So haven't actually been watching the game (also, Ron never swung by with the brewskis). Looks like we either get the good fielding, poor hitting Sano, or the poor fielding good hitting Sano? Ugh. Put it all together big man!
