    Love the dp, boys!

Bravo Rosario. The nearest infielder was where, behind second? Shifting for Jason Castro with two outs. Managers get too cute sometimes.
  3. Hosken Bombo Disco
    Yep

If he's been following the Twins, his bones have ground to dust by now

Sarcasm here? Welcome to the dark side, Doc!

For all his long career, I think of him as a Twin. RIP friend

True you are. So in my defense, I guess I still keep a distinction between guys like Morris and Bert, who make **** up (my opinion of course) based on what they were told 40 years ago or whatever sounds good in the moment, and then Gladden, who is old school but tries to keep up and shoots pretty straight (most of the time). And again that is obviously just my opinion of it. Not a diss on Morris or Bert, because they do their jobs well for their audiences. I don't know if Bert or Morris scouted, but I know Gladden did.

Gladden scouted. Gladden is a little old school, and likes having his action figure persona, but he knows his ****.

someone upthread said something about pitching....

yeah, what about that?* *not watching the game though
  15. Hosken Bombo Disco
So, it all evens out! or something like that

I wonder if the Twins have studied whether Buxton should just steal on pitcher's first move and not even worry about if the move is a pickoff attempt.

Del Rosario was promoted to Ft. Myers in July. Congrats to him! His final three Cedar Rapids starts were good: July 4: 7.0 IP, 3 hits, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 SO July 10: 6.0 IP, 6 hits, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 2 SO July 17: 6.0 IP, 5 hits, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 5 SO Over the past two seasons, Del Rosario made 34 starts in A ball. His overall record in A is 13-8 with a 4.06 ERA Good luck to him in A+

what is it about 5 runs leads with this team?
  19. Hosken Bombo Disco
Now that the game is tied again, please disregard my earlier negativity

I know the Twins pitching is terrible and we should sell all our assets and plan to compete in 2021, but someone tell me something good Castro has done since the first two weeks of the season.
  21. Hosken Bombo Disco
What is O'Rourke's track record against lefties?
  22. Hosken Bombo Disco
The jargon is expected; I would have liked some tougher Q&A about more specific topics
  23. Hosken Bombo Disco
It's a little of both (or a lot of both, in this case). The players collapsed by themselves just fine in late July, but a trade for a starter a little but sooner (Garcia?) would have preceded the collapse.
  24. Hosken Bombo Disco
I would vote Castro and Gimenez, personally
