    I need somebody who is smarter at baseball then me to explain to me the purpose of Kubel walking up to the plate and doing exactly what everybody knew he was going to do while the man second on the team in dingers watches helplessly as Kubal k's helplessly. Does anybody really believe that it will be Hicks sent down when Fuld comes back and not Kubal released?

    I have a hard time decided who I am most excited about between Meyer, May, Johnson, Darnel, or Gilmartin. And just for good measure one could throw in Pino as well. I guess I would give Meyer the slight edge and make Pino the trailer but the others are too close to separate

    I cant keep from thinking about a game maybr 4 starts ago gibson was sent out in the 7th after throwing 91 pitches thru 6 and ending up giving up i think 3-5 runs in 2/3 of the 7th. If he had not been sent out which at the time i was surprised he was...ifi remember right it was ccold night and the offense had a long bottom of the sixth...i wonder what his numbers would be and where his confidence would be.

    Mauer and Dozier must have been the only ones to take pregame batting practice altho it appears Dozier did his during the pre game baserunning drills

    Klaw thinks that Beebe falls out of the first round. What are the chances he falls to 46 and if he does...do the Twins happily snap him up?

    I think I would like Sizemore in CF and as a backup to Hicks and as a platoon option for Hicks against the tought RH. I dont know how Grady grades out defensively anymore but I am pretty sure he can play outfield better then Santana, Colabello, EE, Bartlett and possibly Fuld. So IF the RS release him or whatever its called the Twins should pick him up and when Fuld is done with the rehab assignment choose between Hicks and Fuld and Grady. Or put Hicks in AAA and keep everybody if thats the best option

    If the twins took Nola at 5 what are the chances that one of Gatewood, Gordon or Turner is still available? Or if they took one of those three out are the chances they can still get a good pitcher equal to Nola at 46

    I agree with the common thought of who gets sent down when players are activated. However I disagree on pitchers. I think the Twins should attempt to trade Burton and let Pelfry take his spot and leave Corria where he is unless he continues to be terrible thrn DFA him although a trade is certainly preferrable. I think Burton at this point might have more trade value then KC or MP and if MPcan regain his velocity plus a coupke ticks working out of the bpen maybe we could recoup some of the 11mil in trade

    Is there really anybody the Twins would concievably pick over Kolek if he was still available? I just can't believe they would pass on him if he was an option. IF....IF the twins had both him and Stewart and both pitched according to projections...Wow
