    I am not thrilled with this but it could ...could work out IF Torii teaches Hicks how to hit Torii teaches Arcia how to field Torii fires up the clubhouse without punching anybody out then I like it. Did Schaffer get non tendered?

    I think this is being way over thought. I think molitor is pry simply looking at Hunter as an upgrade over colabello. Realistically... at least in my eyes...Hunter replaces Colabello as the rf option and colabello is offrighted off the roster

    If the Twins sign a starter, the chances of seeing Mays or Meyer in the starting rotation diminish exponentially. If they sign Lester I am okay with that, otherwise do not sign any SP or RP. Go big or go home as far as starting pitchers would go. Outfield is a different story. The Twins need outfielders more than pitchers in my opinion. The Twins need to target high speed, high OBP, high average guys. Think Peter B or John Jay from ST Louis, or Ben Revere or AJ Pollock for Arizona via trade.

    I think that our new manager is right to a point. But by the same token if English speaking players went to the leagues in the south I would expect them to be able to speak spanish well enough to get by. It goes both ways....I don't think spanish speakers should come to the major leagues and refuse to learn English nor to I think that coaches and players here should refuse to learn spanish.

    I think Terry S will be back as well. I wonder if Bruno will put in a good work for his friend Viola as pitching coach? I hope Bert B, Frank V or Jack Morris is the next pitching coach. I would love Doug M(ajhdihapohgaafhajdpvich) as first base coach or third base coach as well. I think Bert would be my favorite for pitching coach simply because of the job he did with the Dutch national teams in the world tournaments.

    If MLB Trade rumors is right....that is extremely disappointing to me. I would rather watch Gibson, May and Meyer pitch then Hammels, Pelfrey, or Anderson. IF Malone was non-tendered and Duensing, picking up Anderson would be a smart move

    No. They need to get away from the status quo of signing mediocre players. I am well aware that there is a place on every roster for such a player. The problem is the Twins have several and don't need to be looking for more.

    I usually don't get involved in the payroll dispute, but his team is really turning into Major League, Everytime I see or hear a payroll quote I feel the need to watch that movie. I am sick of watching poor major league players being given full time roles with the club. I don't need to name names, everybody knows who they are. I just know the way the team is being run is sadly making me lose my love for the team and baseball as a whole. I find myself with better things to do then watch or care what is going on with this team.

    The Twins, if they are going to improve need to do three things. One get a top tier pitcher. I prefer Jon Lester. Two trade for a center fielder. Try Peter B or John Jay. Sign or Trade for a Left fielder. IF they do all three of these things they will be able to contend for a championship next year. If they do two...they might win the central. If they go out and sign a second tier starting pitcher and stick with Schaffer as a full time LF the Twins will once again lose 85 games.

    I have a hard time believing that Reed and Burdi arent with the pen. I think Duensing, Swarsak are gone. And there is no way Burton is back. I think Pressley and Fien and Thielbar and Perkins are with the club. I think that Malone and Pelfrey are in the pen. That leaves 8 that I think will be in the pen.

    I beg to differ. Jose Oquendo, Sandy Alamar Jr and Dave Martinez all have extensive post season success on their resume. And come without the baggage.

    You had me until Ozzie Guillen. He can take his circus somewhere else. I understand the want of a latino coach but there are much better options available the Ozzie.

    I do not know if this is anything for concern. These kinds of things so often work themselves out for spring training. Injuries happen. Trades happen. I would be stunned if the Twins went into 2015 without signing an outfielder or trading for one. I think next year we see Santana getting a lot of shortstop with EE but EE playing more 3B and 2b then this year. I would not be surprised if Arcia or EE or Santana were all on the trade block in order to get a centerfielder with some speed. Like Peter B from the cardinals or that Revere guy from the phillies, or somebodyin that mold. Regardless, I think Santana gets more SS time next year and EE gets less, and the team is better.

    I think Alex Meyer should be above Mr. Stewart based on what he has shown at higher levels and because he is closer to the bigs. I would personally go Meyer, Berrios, Buxton, Sano, Stewart as my top five. But I will defer to Seth because he knows a lot more about it then I do

    That doesnt leave room for a frontline starter or much outfield improvement or upgrades unless through trades. I tey to be positive but this is extrodinarily frustrating news and to me sounds lke the front office is already resigned to mediocre year next year. How sad. Of course they will sell hope on prospects.

    i would like to see dave Martinez has manager and doug mentkayvich as bench coach. Chili davis as hitting coach and bert blyleven as pitching coach suits me fine. after that no preference. ozzie Guillen can keep washing cars are whatever he is doing these days. i prefer leaders who dont feel the need to be a public specticle in order to get their point across.
