    Morales to me, isnt worth giving up a draft pick to sign. Or worth what he wants to get paid. That being said if Josh W started off hot and got traded June 4th and the twins signed Morales to a 3 yr deal without losing a draft pick I would be good with that With Pinto, if the plan is to Dh him, i believe that it will come with a price. That being, Chris Hermann makes the roster and Aaron Hicks doesnt. Mayb that isnt much of a price..but i would rather see Hicks then Hermann

    I think that if hermann makes the club, its at the expense of Hicks and its so Pinto can DH.I see Escobar and the two other chris' s filling the bench with pressly filling center field

    I can not believe he will get a 25 man roster spot. I think they should try to passhim thru waivers now. I dont think anybody would claim him and I doubt he could put up worse numbers. If they wait he might get put up better numbers and get claimed, which i could see the twins and Terry Ryan doing for this purpose

    Saying the Twins should go the Royals route really isn't fair. How have the Royals prospects progressed? I would dare say if the players mentioned in the above post dont preform as expected they are optioned or the Royals cut bait with them.And then what will they have gainedby trading Myers and Ordozzi? They will have wasted an opportunity by being impatient. Granted their catcher has done well...but i seem to recall the twins calling up a catcher at that age as well

    I think Diamomd instead of Worely I think Colobello instead of Kubal I think Pressly instead of Bartlet I think Pinto instead of Hermann I could also see Diamond instead of thiebar with worley in the pen but I agree, Thiebar deserves it and has earned it

    If somebody claims him, does he need to stay on the 25 man roster or pass thru waivers to be assigned to AAA? I agree, i doubt somebody would pick him up and even if they did would the twins miss him that much? It looks like we currently will have better options then him at AAA.

    Kolek , Nola, Gatewood Turner how to pick just one? i want them all. Not to mention Beebe and Hoffman. Maybe we could get two with our first two picks...

    It cant be. anything the twins would trade for him would be a downgrade in CF....and we have the best CF prospect in history outside of Mike Trout or Willie Mays working his way up. I dont see it happening

    Sounds like they only are asking for a catcher. Why would we want to give them more then what they want? If we have to send two prospects the best catcher I would send would be Turner or Knudson

    And thats without even mentioning guys like Adam Walker and Travis Harrison. The Twins will be good for a long time.

    I think early long term contracts will soon become the norm for every club not named Yankees, Red Sox, Angels, and Dodgers. And Mike Trout's mega deal would be the most likely reason why.

    I wish the Twins would have been able to pick up AJ. I understand he wants another ring and all that, but our team, defense and offense would be so much improved with him on it.

    I do not believe the Twins will have a true DH. Willingham puts up better numbers in the field then DHing and I believe Kubel does as well. I believe Mauer will also get some DH time, as will I believe Escubar.

    A realistic and fair comp would not be what the Twins have done with a second round draft pick, but what has the league done for results.

    I would give him 3/24 or 3/27. If I am giving up a high draft pick I want more then two years

    If when the Twins pick, Kolek and Turner are both available after good years, I would have no idea which one I would prefer. I think Kolek.

    Im curious as to why you feel Alex Meyer will start at AA. Not saying he won't just curious why you think he will and does he have a innings limit this year? Also, what are the chances of Ryan Pressly beginning in the minors so one of the other pitchers out of options gets bullpen duty with the big club rather then being exposed to waivers?

    I wonder if the plan from the front office of the Twins was always to get Pelfry for more than 1 year even though that's what they originally signed him for. I am not sold on the idea of the Twins being contenders with this rotation but they should at least be competitive. I am still hoping that Willingham gets traded mid-year as well as Corria and maybe Worley and/or Deduno.

    Terry Ryan didn't act too aggressively signing Nolasco. A fair comp to that would be the signing of Johnny Peralta of the Cards and the ongoing saga of Stephen Drew

    Maybe Joe Mauer should talk to Brian Harper. Didn't Mr. Harper strike out like 17x over 550 at bats one year?

    I have a lot of hope for Mr. Hicks, I think he will be very good and figure things out. Last year didn't work out for him. Doesn't mean this year won't . Sounds like he has a bit of chip on his shoulder which is always a good thing for an athlete to have. I think he will be a lot better then people give him credit for

    It would be exciting to see him and Kolek going back to back in a few years wouldn't it?
