    Maybe he's found new life with the splitter. Or maybe as FIP suggests the Twins fielding will let him down just like the rest of the rotation. Or maybe it's dumb luck/SSS. Pelf's greatest accomplishment this season would be to hold this streak together long enough to be traded.

    Arcia needs to be in the field. Move Hunter to DH. Unfortunately tidiest sound like Rosario has shown he's ready to take over LF yet. They gotta do something though... This is unwatchable futility in the field.

    A. 85 losses in 2015, over .500 in 2016, playoffs 2017B. Over .500 in 2018, playoffs, I hope to live that long, and I'm 35 C. I think the Twins FO thinks A too, but no I have no faith that this FO can achieve such lofty goals If A was what I wanted without realism it would involve time travel

    i very much agree with the notion of "no more Parmelee" and this is one of the best arguments I've read on the pros for signing over priced washed up old has beens. But Torii was one of the first free agent signings of the offseason. This wasn't a desperation move, and SSS he hasn't upgraded the hitting. Maybe he will upgrade the hitting over the season, but it won't be enough.

    yeah, but the clubhouse stuff is almost always appreciated by a departing vet. That was one of the pros to Pelfrey stated earlier in his Twins career, and look at how he handled being sent to the bullpen. Maybe Hunter rounds into form at the dish, but he is still a terrible signing. Look at all the goofy hoops the lineup has to go through to fake a competent outfield. There's no way he can hit enough to compensate for all three outfield positions.

    before kids, my wife and I went to 20 to 30 per season, at the Dome when it was cheap, every Wednesday, we'd get gen admin seats and dollar dogs, a couple beers and for 25 bucks total was date night... Good memories. Now it's tough to get in the door for 25$ per person even though the Twins suck badly
