This is a good day for the pro sell-off crowd. Abel has been dominant, Bader is 0-3 with 2 Ks, and Outman homered. It 's been a good day, and I'm not sure I'm quite as optimistic as you, but I see a bright future as well.
Abel looks great through 4 innings. A bit of traffic in the fourth, but he worked around it. He's making his case to be considered in a very crowded 2026 starting rotation
That was such a Twins inning, getting a leadoff home run, and runners on second and third with one out, and then back to back strikeouts to end the threat.
I especially enjoyed going to the other sites and reading about former Twins mainly right after the Trade Deadline. Jays Centre ran a piece talking about whether or not Varland could be trusted in high leverage a couple days ago, and I laughed while reading it, thinking about the Twins bullpen, and the guys throwing high leverage innings for them right now
I'm curious how you picked the seven that you did. Red Sox, Jays, Padres, Brewers, Twins, Cubs, and Marlins seems a bit random to me. The only similarities I can see is that they are all small market? Also curious, was Twins Daily the original one?
Well, I can't say I do that, but I did spend a lot of time on the other 6 Twins Daily Sister Sites, and was proud to see the Twins Daily is doing a lot better than any of the other ones no matter how bad the twins are playing
I'm not sure how serious you are, but Tait isn't even close to ready for the big leagues, and Pareda's OPS was even worse than Vazquez's in his time with the Twins if that's even believable. Tait wasn't bad, but his performance in Cedar Rapids was not so inspiring that he needs to be pushed to the big leagues until at least Opening Day 2027 probably even farther out. The Twins don't have much immediate help at the catcher position for 2026, which is why resigning Vazquez is of interest
Did Falvey actually mention Lopez and Ryan, or was it inferred? If he did mention them it could mean that the Twins might not be actively looking to trade them this offseason.
