So, according to this, Alex Jackson should be the closer right now -
I think bullpen is still 1a but the rotation is definitely 1b right behind it. Another starter and a reliever and I am happy.

Solid offensive debut for Lackey, but he did struggle a bit behind the plate with a passed ball and a throwing error on a pickoff attempt. Hopefully it is just rust for him. I am encouraged by the SB and the plate discipline though.

Gomez, Morris, Minter, Nance, Rojas, Rogers, Anderson, Adams. Love the trade. This really solidifies the bullpen. Hopefully we can get 2025 and early 2026 Minter because he was one of the best in the game. Get one more reliever and a starter and I will be thrilled.

I think the reason that Larnach is considered expendable is because of all the outfielders waiting in AAA. I am not in favor of trading him unless they are blown away because of how much he means to this years club. Trade him this offseason. We need his bat this year. The value they will get won't be that different now or in the winter.

Everybody tune in the Fort Myers game starting in a few minutes. The starting nine includes 5 2026 draft picks including Vahn Lackey and Carson Tinney making their debuts.

The Twins bullpen in this series went 9 innings, allowing zero runs and striking out 10. The bullpen and the rotation really saved the Twins in this series. If they gave up a couple more runs, neither of the two walk-offs happen.

Seriously, though the Twins need to figure out their offense. Hopefully that Kody blast helps turn it around, but they scored 1 run in the first 8 innings of the games in that entire series. Doesn't matter. A win is a win. I am amazed they still won two out of three. Go Twins!! Buy!!

Don't worry. About 8 2/3 of that game was borderline unwatchable. Just watch the last highlight and you saw all that mattered. Kody!!!!!!!!!!!

We haven't homered since the Cleveland series. I'm not denying the offensive struggles. I think that the the offense needs a jolt and calling up Jenkins when Buxton went on the IL might have provided that jolt for the Twins offense.- 66 replies

Dobnak had a 1.42 ERA coming into this start. The Twins are not the only team that has struggled against him this year. It was a bad offensive day all-around, but days like this do happen. The Twins can still win the series and bounceback with a fresh bullpen (thanks to Rojas) and Ober on the mound.- 66 replies

White Sox are down 4-0. This could be a big win for the Twins to make up a game on them. Gotta get the offense going though. No homers in the last 4 games, 5 including this one.

Culpepper I can understand not calling up. He was just activated five days ago and has yet to play the field, D.H.ing in all of his game thus far. I really don't understand Gray over Jenkins or really anyone else. Gray wasn't even hitting that well in AAA. He was slashing .286/.333/.429 with 0 home runs and only 1 RBI in 14 at-bats.

Call up anybody but Gray. We have Jenkins, Culpepper, Mendez, Gonzalez, and even Wallner all performing in AAA and we call up Tristian Gray? Why!!!!! Does not make sense at all.

Ideal outcome is a Dobnak-Ryan pitching duel through 6 innings. After that the Twins light up the Royals bullpen to win 6-0 and then we acquire Dobnak to bolster the pitching staff.😀
