Is there a possibility the current FO is trying to finagle their way out of a mistake of the prior? Give Larnach and Outman spring training and a month to possibly get some trade buzz before cutting bait?

The Pohlads Are Running Out of Scapegoats
hlsballer318 replied to Cody Christie's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
I can't put my finger on it as I haven't been a fan as long as many of the other posters on this site, but there's something wrong with the clubhouse culture. Sure the roster could have been bolstered after 2023 or 2024. But wasn't the 2025 team decent on paper? Wasn't the 2024 team decent on paper? What led to the last quarter collapse in 2024? Why does the team go on a ten game winning streak and then fall to pieces prior to the 2025 trade deadline? How are all those trade pieces worth something, but the team is lesser than the sum of its parts? I'm venting, but at this point I just gotta sit back and watch the season unfold.- 47 replies

Why a Twins Rebuild Was Never the Only Answer
hlsballer318 replied to Cody Christie's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
The twins just can't completely collapse during games like they did last year. If the bats are slumping, fielding and pitching need to compensate and vice versa. Last year in a lot of the losses it seemed like when one door closed, every other door and window also slammed shut.- 50 replies

Hoping they have a good first half of the season: is there a possibility they even become buyers? Or do they point to that success and stay?

Can someone explain why they would draft then immediately trade this guy? Is this a move to open up a trade channel with the Giants for someone else? My first time paying attention to rule 5 and I want to learn more!
