  1. Trump probably does not even know it needs to pass the Senate. He does not seem to be as familiar of how the government works as the typical President, or the average third grader.
  2. I posted this on the Trump thread - but it is disgusting how celebratory they were. All they cared about was that they repealed the health care bill that was passed by that man. They really don't care about what is best of their constituents, only that they win.
  3. Another picture of these clowns gleeful over their win - who cares how it actually effects the average person. They are really soulless and with no sense of honor or decency (or grace, class, empathy etc..).
  4. For some reason I just had a vision of you looking like this. Are you part of a "family" business?
  5. Picture of the rose garden celebration of the repeal and replacement of health care. That is a whole lot of entitled white male who have a really good health care plan paid for by the tax-payers. Trump smiling smugly -- only caring about victory and sticking it to Obama, not even really sure of what was in the bill or how it will really affect people. Still his core supporters will think he is a messenger of God even as they lose their health care coverage. He also signed that nice Religions EO -- what a great day for the country. http://a.abcnews.com/images/Politics/RTR-GOPAtWhiteHouse-02-jrl-170504_12x5_1600.jpg
  6. Daily after Dark -- only accessible on the Dark Web. You have to do quite a bit to warrant a warning and there are more limericks than haikus.
  7. I suppose writing "as expected" is not really necessary for this one.
  8. Isn't this motto found at the beginning of the Game Thread Instruction Manual?
  9. I am pretty sure we have scored more runs and probably won more games than all of last season now.
  10. I think the concrete has finally settled.
  11. No wonder they are an endangered species -- they don't wear helmets. I bet he texts while driving as well.
  12. His latest tweet -- he is actually going to continue to go down the Andrew Jackson rabbit hole, because he has to somehow be right about everything. I suspect he would be OK if Jackson's plan to prevent the Civil War would have been to maintain the slavery status quo. Donald J. Trump‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump 3h3 hours ago President Andrew Jackson, who died 16 years before the Civil War started, saw it coming and was angry. Would never have let it happen!
  13. I heard them say that equaled the number of balls hit to right field the previous two seasons. If he can do that even occasionally, it will help deflate some of the effectiveness of the split. On another homer type not - his defense is not looking too shabby.
  14. When he was with the the Italian Prime Minister recently he said Pavarotti is a great friend of mine. I should give him the benefit of the doubt and that he probably meant it in past tense, since the singer died ten years ago. The more cynical side of me thinks he was just pulling names out of his &^*& and had no idea his "great friend" had long stopped singing.
  15. I think he actually got the information from his good friend Pavarotti who he was face timing last week.
  16. He likes the tough bullying type who aren't afraid to get a little blood on their hands. Does he have no awareness of Jackson's legacy and how he has been viewed in modern times? "People don't realize, you know, the Civil War, if you think about it, why," the president said. "People don't ask that question, but why was there the Civil War?" "Why could that one not have been worked out?" he continued. Trump made the comments after going on a lengthy riff about President Andrew Jackson, a past president Trump believes was similar to himself in his populist views and bombastic campaigning. "I mean, had Andrew Jackson been a little later, you wouldn't have had the Civil War," Trump said of the slave-owning president. "He was a very tough person, but he had a big heart. He was really angry that he saw what was happening with regard to the Civil War. He said 'there's no reason for this.” Jackson, who was president from 1829 to 1837, died in 1845, 16 years before the outbreak of the Civil War.
  17. Bummer about the game I could have posted all Night...
  18. It feels nice to be able to beat the Royals again. Like that is the natural order of things.
  19. Except doesn't this comment endanger all of that?
  20. The mine used to give old inner tubes from the big trucks to be used as trampolines. If you look closely there is a sharp metal air nozzle that you would have pointed down at the start. Unfortunately, the tube would sometimes flip as you were flying through the air giving you potential to land on the sharp metal point. Impaling yourself on the nozzle combined with bouncing on a curved surface and either flying off or twisting your ankle and falling in the middle (toward the nozzle), the injury rate was fairly high (I broke my arm). Even in the less careful 70's, someone decided this was probably not a good idea, and the era of big inner tube fun came to an end.
  21. College (Alcohol) and Jarts has potential for some interesting outcomes.
  22. They seemed much less worried about emotional (or physical) injury back then. http://photos1.blogger.com/x/blogger/4731/3161/1600/901114/jarts.jpg' http://www.antiques.com/vendor_item_images/ori__439773837_1121571_Wood_Burning_Kit_B4988.jpg
  23. Chief saw the opening performance, so he would know.
