    Sadly, there are so many things this past year, that if I saw on paper a year or two ago, I would have assumed was an exaggeration or fabrication or too out there for even an Onion article, but are in fact reality.

    Gleefully recounting his decision to bomb another country with a giddy fan-girl interviewer and making sure he points out everything went perfectly - not one miss while remembering more about the cake he was eating but not which country he bombed. http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2017/04/trump-syria-chocolate-cake-mar-a-lago His every word is either a brag or a lie or cutting down an enemy (he also mentioned Hilary is lucky Comey helped her out otherwise she would be on trial today. I am not sure he remembers Comey's announcement ten days before the election....)

    That gives the song (and the movie) much more depth and layers. (I did not know that and its not like you did not hear that line 155 times during the song. Were they any other lyrics?)

    I think he was 50, that was a very old age in 1954 BC.

    "He was not using the gas on his own people the same way" Is Spicer saying that the German Jews that Hitler killed weren't really true Germans? Maybe this is their way of acknowledging Passover just as Trump coming out in support of O'Reilly was his way of acknowledging the start sexual harassment awareness month. I cannot even fully comprehend how insulting Spicer's statements were.

    So far this year's "fun with numbers" is more fun than last year.

    Just got here -- if someone would not have said something to jinx yesterday's game we would be 6-0 right now.

    I might not be remembering things correctly, but I am pretty sure we have already won more games than all of last year.

    He has ranted about previous administrations telling too much of their military plans, but he tells one of the allies of the person he is going to bomb who then somehow knows he needs to move things as if he was tipped off he was going to be bombed. It is almost as if it was a PR move than doing it because he was so concerned about the children (the children which he has banned from entering the country)..

    even prior to today, civilian deaths have increased under Trump. At least he sent Jared to Iraq to work out a plan -- Jared and a Secretary of State with no foreign diplomatic experience -- we are in good shape for global affairs. http://www.newsweek.com/trumps-war-civilian-deaths-syria-577353

    I think people have been saying all year the Twins would be one of the elite MLB teams in 2017.

    I was in meetings most of the day and am catching up now. One thing is missing from the thread. Is math no longer cool?

    No big shock -- but McConnell is such a hyprocite talking about obstructing the judicial process. I still am not sure how he does not just burst into flames. I have heard the Nunes replacement is just as disinterested investigating Russia as he was.

    This actually did give me some school flashbacks. If I have a finals dream tonight, I will know why.

    If someone starts doing math problems in Spanish, I think it would take the game thread to a whole new level. It is kind of a bummer that Mike's birthday is 363 days away.

    I knew a few people who changed their majors in large part to linear algebra. It caused a lot of anguish and grief.

    I have heard the only thing in that void is Hawk Harrelson's voice on an endless loop.
