  1. Melton only had to throw 11 pitches to get through that inning.
  2. Sometimes they look pretty good and sometimes I wonder how they’ve won any games at all.
  3. Roden looked good at FCL and is moving his rehab assignment to the Mighty Mussels.
  4. Trade him at the deadline. He’ll be due something in the $7-8mil range next year and doesn’t warrant that. Time to start making decisions with an eye towards the future. Roden’s rehab assignment is moving to Ft Myers and I’d rather see what he’s got.
  5. Like to see Bradley return to his early season form. Hasn’t been that good since coming back from the IL. Is Buck going to be back?
  6. Trade Bell for whatever they can get. Wallner can play DH and platoon with Martin.
  7. Not sure what to make of this Detroit series, but after that is a pretty tough stretch - St. Louis, at Texas, at Arizona, and then the Dodgers.
  8. I keep hearing and reading about the Twins playing against the struggling Royals and Tigers. Well KC just took 3 at Target Field and the Tigers have won 4 of their last 5. Twins are 3-7 in the last 10, they are the team heading in the wrong direction here.
  9. Emma, Jenkins and Roden are hurt, which complicates things. Don’t make moves to win a few extra games in June 2026. They need to be making decisions for the future, ie who is gonna be on the team in 2027 and beyond?
  10. Tigers, look to get right against the even worse, Minnesota Twins. They just won four out of five and took the series against the Mariners. Not much to like about this club right now.
  11. Twins are the inferior club. They are trending right to their 72-win projection.
  12. Tigers beat the Mariners again and have now won 5 out of 6. They’ll be looking to get right this week when the Twins visit.
  13. Gleeman: Byron Buxton (shoulder) remains out of the Twins' lineup, but Derek Shelton indicated that he's very close to returning. "From the conversation I had with him this morning, he was in a really good spot." Monday is an off day. Decent chance Buxton is back in the lineup Tuesday.
  14. Buck another day off. Lewis batting 6th and making his first start at 1B. Abel throwing a bullpen today before the game.
  15. Baseball season is relentless and this team is frustrating . Not sure what to do about today’s game.
  16. Twins have scored 2 runs or less 19 times this season (29% of the time) and are 1-18 in those games.
  17. Always appreciate your optimism, Peter, but I don’t think this club is touching .500 again this year.
  18. Twins are 5-10 in 1-run games and are one of two teams that do not have a walk off win yet this season.
  19. 96 more of these to sit through. I might have to take some time off from this club.
